Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They was friendly very helpful and knowledgeable. They listen to my request and everything was great. The room was warm, very clean and disabled friendly. The breakfast was great, cereals, fruit, full English plus baked items. The service was good and the staff was helpful in any requests. We ate in the restaurant one night. Again the food was tasty, good size portions with yummy puds!

the location was ideal for us as we were stopping over here on our way up to Scotland which meant little deviation from our planned route. The accommodation was basic, but basic is all we needed, beds were comfortable for the kids and the restaurant on site was well equipped with a range of beverage and food options. The place is situated on a main road directly opposite a Morrisons Local petrol garage which had ample supplies and as we had unfortunately forgotten a charger wire, was a handy thing to have.

Not a lot to dislike to be honest. The only thing I could say is that the windows didn't open very far and the AC didn't work in our room, which on a hot and muggy night, wasn't ideal, but by and large, it was a pleasant enough experience and we were only there overnight anyway.

Stay in hotel is absolutely amazing. I not expected so cosy and lovely room for that price. Bed was so comfortable, I not remember when I last time sleep so good. Stuff was friendly ,helpful and always smile. Breakfast is amazing delicious and good price. I spend only 20£ for my self and 2 kids and we not eat all,because It was too much. Pub where we eat breakfast was nice decorated and very big. Middle between pub and hotel are kids playground. All in one place. I think staying too close to pub in to hotel will be very loud,but not. Its very quiet and nice place. Rooms are big enough for staying 4 people and still have lot of place. Definitely recommend this place and next time when travel agane ,Definitely stay in this place. So sad we stay only one night,but it was best night.

The room was nice but could have done with having the mirror replaced over the table, had to request the remote for the TV as it was not in the room. Net curtains were not fit for purpose they didn't fit the window correctly. Was unable to have a bath as couldn't work out how to swap it from shower to taps so had a shower instead. The room was clean altho the carpet needed a clean as there were stains on it. Tea coffee sugar and milk available and if you ran out you were able to get some from reception. The bed was amazingly comfortable, I slept well and the staff were flexible with my leaving time which was a blessing. I ate in the pubin the evening, food was lovely and good value for money. Fried Breakfast was great but could do with a coffee machine on the breakfast table to keep the coffee hot, it was cool when I got to it. There was plenty of choice from pastries to cereal. I would definitely stay here again

Beds are really comfortable, spacious rooms, quiet environment, overall good stay.

I have stayed here a couple of times, once was booked as a last minute decision due to some issues in my house (dust from construction etc made it hard for me to breath so we decided to stay away for one night as a one off), as we arrived at a late time (probably around 10pm) we were greeted at the reception desk by someone who I felt judged off of, as they asked us why we were staying there and why did we decide to book so late, in addition to asking me to provide information that hotels don't usually ask for. Just to specify, this interaction did not happen on this particular stay, but on a previous one.

bed was top notch. 101% comfortable. I like it. it made up for all other disappointments I had about the place. extremely comfortable especially after a long drive from London.

breakfast was wanting and absence of a receptionist was a put off. after a long day’s journey, one expects to be checked in asap. we had to wait for about 5-8 mins before we were attended to. The reception desk was empty even later when I had issues with my room heater. Breakfast needs a very good check/improvement, both the services and the products. Team especially the gentleman at the bar/restaurant reception seems unbothered about in-house clients/ residents. Kitchen team did an impressive work with my traditional breakfast though👏👏👏👏👏.

Was very clean and comfortable, staff were mostly amazing and very friendly. One of the staff was very rude to us and told us (Lauren M- apparently part of management shockingly!) we weren’t allowed to eat in the pub attached to the hotel but when we complained about this the problem was resolved quickly by the general manager who made our stay really enjoyable along with the his fellow colleagues.

Friendly staff, close parking, nice spacious room

Stayed there couple of times now and it's just so good for the price you pay! This time however stayed with 2 children under 2 and the staff brought us a cot and put it up. Checked if we have everything and if we don't need extra pillows or blankets. There is also a fenced off playground for kids just outside the hotel and restaurant. Really good absolutely love it there!

The kitchen was closed at 6pm and would have been good if we received an email or something letting us know.

Great location for our LandsEnd-John O'Groats cycle stop. Staff very welcoming. Associated on-site pub served great evening meal and breakfast. Great value. Well-appointed and very clean room. Large car park for support car. Opposite is a Morrisons mini-supermarket, fuel station with laundromat, and Costa Coffee drive-thru. Close to very attractive Lancashire countryside (Forest of Bowland etc), and coast.
