Rossett Hall Hotel

Spacious room with everything you would need (including a fan which was very welcome). Quiet room, despite a wedding reception at the hotel one evening, as the reception staff had made sure to locate us well away from the event side of the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Great location for us, just 15 minutes from Chester. Extremely comfy beds.

Rooms are a little bit dated, but are well maintained. The shower is an over the bath shower with shower curtain, which isn't as convenient as a walk in shower cubicle. But these as minor issues, would definitely stay again!

Beautiful room with garden view, very comfortable and spacious with plenty of little extras such as bottles of water teas coffees and hot chocolate & biscuits and Elemis products in the bathroom and a very nice restaurant onsite - very happy

For a four star hotel the staff could have been a bit more friendly particularly the receptionists - very efficient bar and waiting staff and receptionists just not very friendly, no friendly greeting when we arrived to check in or as we passed reception each day - it would make a big difference for such a nice place

Stayed at the venue for a wedding I recommended the hotel to the bride after going to another wedding there last year. Nice building and Leanne and team couldn't do enough for the bridal party. My bedroom was nice. Good range of tea and coffee. Not a fan of sparkling water but it was a nice touch for the rooms. Elemis toiletries in the bathrooms Great breakfast 10/10

Had a meal in the restaurant the night before which was terrible, however they did not charge me for it and all other meals looked amazing and the other guests were very happy with theirs, the staff were great. At both weddings I've been to there was no announcement that the food was ready to be served or that the cake was sliced and ready to be had. The room I had was unbearably warm. Fans are provided in the room but no A/C Other rooms I visited were cooler Bridal suite windows were stuck shut so got hot getting ready.

The route from room to restaurant. We were asked if we would like to dine in and shown a menu on the wall, unfortunately this was not the evening menu. The wine of our choice Sauvignon Blanc was not available, the meal of our choice actually on menu Caesar Salad was not available. As we were the last two dining we vacated table so they could lay up for breakfast and retired to bar for drink, however screens we taken down to expose breakfast cereals, plants were being moved trestle tables were being put up,this was early evening so we took drinks back to room.

Clean, comfortable room. Hotel generally cleaned to high standard and tidy. Most staff friendly and welcoming. Grounds well maintained.

Dinner -Caesar salad -lettuce soft, Parmesan cheese was tasteless., chicken was sent back- would have been better with chicken breast. Very disappointing. Hubby had steak and chips which were good! Breakfast was just ok - croissant were terrible. Some fresh vegetable offering would be good. Self serve bacon was dry as though left too long. Cooked to order bagel with scrambled egg and bacon was good. Day we left chambermaid entered room twice whilst we were still there- felt as though they were trying to get us to go!

I love virtually everything about this hotel and I've stayed in afew with my job. The car parks great plenty of spaces, the rooms are clean as a whistle and nicely decorated. The beds comfy and the quilt are so good I was boiling in bed.. the TV and internet reception was free and good signal. The buffet breakfasts were good quality. Plus all the staff were great from the cooks,cleaners,servers and especially Samm and Ethan on reception. Samm especially is brilliant. She's a gem there. Willing to help, Friendly,polite,funny and makes you feel like a honoured guest.

One thing that isn't the hotels fault is the mobile phone signal is terrible. I'm with virgin and ee and both phones barely received calls. The restaurant menu I think needs changing more often and bigger choices and sometimes the food is abit hit or miss. The smoked salmon tagliatelle is great but the BBQ ribs were burnt to a crisp.. the sirloin steak was chewy as heck but the fish and chips was great. That's it

The staff at reception were extremely helpful, kind and made our stay very enjoyable. The rooms were superclean with great garden view. The breakfast was delicious.. We were a large group so the staff at reception were very kind is responding to our need for a space to meet at the hotel and they facilitated this for us. At breakfast they also tried to offer us tables next to each other.. As the gr had special diet, the staff very kindly accommodated our needs and offered us vegetarian sausages at breakfast. It looks like they have a great wedding venues too if someone need to use them In general, it was perfect, we were very pleased with our stay and we would love to come back again

Nothing Maybe a swimming pool would add more points to the place?

I loved the breakfast buffet. The staff there were great especially Louie who was very professional and friendly. All the reception staff are great as I keep adding onto my booking and they have to sort my room out. I also would like to thank the older lady on reception who helped me when I needed to get something delivered to the hotel. She brought it to my room so thank you.. i also think all the cleaners who do a fantastic job. I have alot of stuff I have to bring with me and they have to clean around all that

Not the hotels fault but the phone reception is weak here. I'm on Virgin mobile which doesn't help.

The Hotel is well placed for travel within the area, with ample parking. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the standard buffet selection, plentiful and tasty, but it would have been nice to have had more variation in the selection. The Hotel has a rather strange ground floor layout when going from the main hotel to the restaurant / Bar/ Lounge area? Not an issue but unusual.

No overriding issues with the Hotel, the service in the Bar/ Lounge area could be a bit hit and miss.

The staff we amazing and we always felt welcome. The breakfast was fantastic and the service we received was excellent. The bed was really comfortable and the garden view was great. I cannot fault the service we received from the staff.

The room is dated and could do with modernising. The bathroom again is showing its age with loose tiles and split silicon around fixtures and fittings. Despite his I would definitely stay again.
