Very close to the town, plenty of restaurants and food shops. Transport links are great with a 5 minute walk to the train station. The staff in the pub were very helpful. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfy, the TV had plenty of channels. My room was on the street and there was hardly any noise. No noise from the pub. Right next to a train bridge but was not bothered by any loud noises from the trains. Breakfast came with the room, unfortunately I didn't get chance to try it, slept in. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone who was looking for a hotel.

I have no review for that as I was very happy with my choice.

Great location near the Assembly Rooms (stayed after going to a gig). Good shower, tea and coffee making facilities and TV. Ideal for a single night stay - I was allowed to check-out 15 mins early so that I could wait for my daughter to help with my bags (she stayed elsewhere but we changed for the gig in my room so I had extra luggage). Staff were lovely

Would have preferred a choice at breakfast - but fried breakfast was plenty large enough. Would have liked tea and orange juice

Stayed here for my son's graduation, on the hottest day of the year. Great little place, with a perfect location. The lady at the bar who checked us in and out, and also took our breakfast order, was nothing but lovely! We booked two rooms: double for us and a single for my Mum. Our room was boiling hot, but that was nobody's fault, but the windows opened nice and wide so it did cool down during the night. My mum had a fan, so we could've kicked ourselves for not asking when we found that out in the morning. The room wasn't immaculate but it wasnt filthy: one cobweb up high, a chair that'd seen better days, one or two toothpaste marks on the bathroom door, but nothing major (not to us anyway). The mattress was on the cheap side, but didn't affect us as we slept on top of the duvet anyway. The bedding was spotless. Breakfast was beautiful and hot and served in a good time. Nice little stay if you're not too fussy.

No parking, but to be expected due to the location.

Staff friendly and helpful. Room very clean. Quite quiet for a busy neighbourhood, but my room was at the back of the building. Short stroll past the Pump Rooms and spacious gardens takes you to the heart of this lovely spa town. A large variety of eating and drinking places within 10 minutes walk. Good value for money.

Mattress a bit spartan, but generous supply of clean towels made it more comfortable. Attention needed to less important details. Eg., everything necessary to make tea and coffee is provided, but flex wouldn't reach the only socket - solved by perching kettle on chair. Radio provided, but not working.

The hotel is in the ideal location for going out in Lemington. It's clean, there's a good breakfast included and the staff are polite and helpful. Good selection of drinks and if you ask they will put your request onto a TV screen for you...even Amazon Prime TV. Short walk from the train station, on street parking on the side roads around, so if you time it right parking is free - there is a car park not far away, but we haven't had to use it yet. The shower was absolutely amazing, a little too amazing - it sprayed water around the bathroom too!

There was a light on over our window all night that even the nice thick curtains didn't block out. We'd have liked a couple of big pillows each rather than the 1 thin one each...we'll make sure to request them next time.

The Thomas James Hotel is situated in the centre of town, handy for shops , pubs and eateries. The room we had overlooked the busy road but after eleven this was very quiet. The room was en-suite with a shower and was very warm, the bed was very comfortable, and there were tea and coffee making available. The only downside was the room was small but for the price we weren’t complaining. The staff were lovely and friendly and provided us with an amazing vegetarian cooked breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately there is no hotel parking but between 8pm and 8am the road is free parking and there was a car park very near, which was inexpensive. I would recommend the hotel as we only paid £57 for myself and my wife with breakfast included which I thought was good value.

Room was small, no private parking.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very warm, and while the fixtures were old, it was clean. The shower was perfectly acceptable for a small room.

The bed was small and very old and somewhat creaky. I slept well but some might not. Carpet is also old. Walls on the thin side. The hotel is above a bar and the whole thing has a rough and ready feel. Worked for me but is definitely not for everyone.

It’s cheap and cheerful for the hotels in the area, great walks, amenities and gyms in walking distance. The staff have been amazing, the place is about ready for a renovation but the staff hasn't met a problem they could sort out for me. Free wifi & breakfast It does what it says on the Tin and it will continue to have my business.

Excellent value for money, reasonable breakfast included, room OK, central location, friendly staff.

Cheapest room was on the top floor thus lots of steps. Not a problem for us but maybe for some. Karaoke on Saturday night was loud, again not an issue for us but will be a problem if you have young children or want an early night

Great value hotel, clean and comfortable, carpets are a little stained from people with muddy shoes/boots. There’s a bar downstairs, but you wouldn’t know it because it’s quiet and the drinkers are respectful of the residents. There is a railway line close to the hotel, but it’s not very busy at night. I always got a good and full nights sleep and woke up feeling very refreshed and relaxed. The breakfast is included in the price of the hotel. It’s a fantastic breakfast that leaves you full and keeps you going until lunchtime. I’ll definitely stay there again. Thank you to the hotel management and staff. Keep up the good work.

The property or staff can’t be faulted. Excellent all round. Ideal location to the town centre and all amenities. Full marks from me
