We had a perfect two-night stay at The Coffee Tavern for my best friends wedding in Warwick. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Warwick, The Coffee Tavern is THE place to stay. The inn is centrally located, excellent food and drink and 10* service all round. The room was well equipped with everything we could need, decor was tasteful and the shower was divine! (Every single member of) The staff were absolutely lovely, genuine and could not do enough for us! We were thoroughly looked after and spoiled.

Room service (cleaning) would have been nice. We were getting ready when room service called, so scheduled a room clean for later on in the day, but this didn’t seem to happen for some reason. Since we were at the wedding and had a late night anyway, this didn’t really bother us too much, but would have made our experience 10/10! The toilet flush could have been a little more powerful and rail in shower could do with looking at, but these are extremely minor things and didn’t really affect our experience.

Great location for Warwick Castle just 5 minutes walk. Cheap 24 hour overnight parking just 5 mins walk as well (there is no parking at the accommodation some hit and miss kerb side but really, use the 24 hour car park there was plenty of space). Food was well priced good sized portions and open kitchen so you can see food is freshly prepared. Chef creative with some nice touches to presentation. Good selection of real ales. Nice outside private court yard. Friendly staff very attentive. Rooms we had were spacious clean and equipped with all you need. Breakfast in the week is self serv continental but plenty and we did not leave hungry. I've put this in my favourite places to stay when visiting Warwick.

Nothing really maybe a sign at breakfast to let you know to ask for tea or coffee as the server gets it for you. Otherwise no complaints from me or my travelling companion at all.

Earliest breakfast is 08:30, not ideal when traffic in the area (needed to cross the M40) is pretty bad by rush hour, so I left early with no where obvious to leave the keys (could not even find a light switch to find anywhere or even unlock the front door). Could not work out how to get channels on the TV, there was an aerial attached but only source options seemed to be HDMI, PC etc. No curtains, just a set of 3 blinds that did not fully privatise the room nor shut out all light. None of the above complaints, just my feedback/observation for owner/next guests. No idea why it shows USA flag, I am British travelling within UK

Tavern is right off main square and really easy to find. There’s a public car park a few minutes away, and plenty of bars and cafes within a few minutes walk. Brilliant views of the church from our room too. We paid for a deluxe room, which had an enormous bathroom with lovely walk in shower. Room was comfortable, with all facilities you’d expect, including huge fluffy towels. Host was very friendly and took time to chat to us at breakfast, making us feel very welcome.

Property doesn’t provide traditionally cooked breakfast, which wasn’t an issue for us, but you may be disappointed if you didn’t know. We had a delicious bagel with a choice of bacon/egg/sausage or all of them if you wanted. This is a tavern with rooms, so no separate reception, again not a problem as staff checked us in promptly at bar.

I stayed in Room 6 on the 2nd floor, which was large and well appointed. Just know the rooms are managed by the pub on the ground floor. Your main contact will be a bar person who is fully versed in handling anything you need. There is a fan and iron in the room. The breakfast was cereal, coffee, juice, and bagel sandwiches (avocado and smoked salmon was my preference).

Remember you are in the center of town, which is usually quiet (unless you count church bells :) Parking is a 7£ / day at a designated public lot about 5minute walk away. I did find parking on the street one evening which is free from 5PM to 9AM. After that, it is limited to 2h for 2£, with no possibility to re-up.

Lovely light spacious bedroom. Large comfy bed. Bathroom huge and great shower. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Centrally placed and easy to find parking options on street or carpark that not pricey. Would really recommend. One of the best places we have stayed in. Love the old building with original features intact. There are some tiny cracks in walls but is all part of the charm of the place.

Nothing to dislike

The location is excellent in the heart of the old town. The staff were very responsive and helpful. They reacted very promptly to any request. The hotel is on top of an old pub which has its own charm. The renovation had been done carefully and tastefully, particularly the bathroom with an excellent shower. We appreciated the cooked breakfast at the weekend.

There was no safe in the room.

Excellent customer service from all the staff, very friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean. When getting a drink, my friend mentioned her room was rather warm, due to the skylight, an extra fan was immediately taken up while we were having our drink, and it was plugged in to start cooling room right away. Nice breakfast, cereal, toast and bagels available. Bagels were freshly warmed for you with a choice of fillings. Great location right in the town centre, and nice and close to the castle, where we were going to a concert. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Always are great welcome and stay the Old Coffee Tavern. Great place to eat and relax with really comfortable rooms.

It's a town centre location so you will from time to time get woken early by the town centre waking up. If you're looking for a full English for breakfast then you will be disappointed. Breakfast is reassuring light and tasting but I'm never left feeling hungry or disappointed.

The room was very well appointed and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and as we had opted for a larger room, it was great to have a sofa to relax on. I was impressed that there was a a hairdryer and iron and ironing board in the room. We also liked the breakfast. We ate dinner on our first night and the food was excellent.

Nothing major, as we had a great stay. I would say that the coffee at breakfast could have been made a bit stronger.
