The Globe

Great room with comfy bed and fabulous shower. We were upgraded from the twin room we had booked at the last minute to escape the mess of building work at home. pleasantly surprised and would recommend to friends/visitors.

hot breakfast menu looks amazing but note its only served from 8am. not ideal as we had to leave by 7:30 to get to work. the continental buffet from 7am is pastries and Kellogs cereal.

Breakfast here was excellent. Staff very helpful, polite and courteous. Had a minor issue with a meal that was rectified immediately, apologies given and chef Helen also came out to apologise which was appreciated. Room (superior room) was just as photos. Nice touch with the bathrobes. Bathroom was spotless as was the room. Good facilities with bottled water, nespresso coffee machine, tea, coffee etc. Excellent location as easy walk to castle and right next to market and centre. Although not a fan of pizzas it was interesting watching chef make them from scratch in an open area. Looked delicious (if you like pizzas!) Also there's an open view of the kitchen where you can see it is very clean and used correctly. Would definitely recommend and will return. Good job all at the Globe. Highly recommend

Everything, so glad we booked a stay at this hotel , a real little gem 💎, the first night we stayed in a front room which was a little bit noisy for me as I'm a light sleeper. So the following morning I asked a really lovely guy on reception if they had a quieter room and he said sure no problem . The rooms are spacious and well equipped super comfy beds and lovely big hot showers. On the Saturday night they had a live band for the coronation party the band were terrific . Met loads of great that night everyone having fun We had free breakfast as part of our stay and it was really nice. So sad to leave this morning , although small warwick has a lot to offer. Will defoe coming back to the globe thanks guys x

I stayed after a hard (25 mile) walk from Birmingham. The manager was very accommodating. The room was really nice, with a modern bathroom and comfy bed, as well as the bar area being great. After a much needed lie-in, I had an espresso (from the machine in the room, amazing), then had to dash off quicky at breakfast. While scoffing my Weetabix, the staff offered to make me a bacon sandwich for the next leg of my journey. Much appreciated, thanks!

The hand wash pump bottle was broken, but I was too tired (and I'm not petty enough) to complain. Great stay.

Welcoming, clean, comfortable and excellent location. Car park close by. The castle is within walking distance. Good restaurants /pubs / bars also in walking distance , as well as a good Restaurant/ Bar on site. Good bathrooms - powerful walk-in shower.

Although there was an extremely good selection of cooked breakfasts, including vegetarian and vegan options, there was very little choice for cold breakfast. Extremely limited cereal / fruit / pastries - no yogurt etc. So if you don’t want cooked breakfast your options are few! Apart from that everything was super.

Spacious room. Hotel had a friendly and warm atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, catering for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. Location was exeptional.

The room needed a few adjustments. The shower was huge with two shower heads which were excellent however, one didn't work and walking to the furthest one felt very slippery underfoot. It did not feel safe for someone who might be unsteady. Lighting was confusing and the taps were breaking. No parking but parking was a reasonable price a very short walk away.

Excellent central location - within walking distance of all shops, bars, restaurants. We fell particularly lucky as the farmers market was operating on our first day within less than one minute walk. Staff were very hospitable, polite and professional and the booking in and out process ran seemlessly. Room was as described and we particularly enjoyed the overhead shower with availability of hot water not a problem. Even though ours was just a two night stay the towels were changed and room service provided - an unexpected bonus. Breakfast was superb - do recommend the Full English

Just an observation from us but we did find the mattress rather soft, even so still managed to get good nights sleep. There is no on-site parking (which was made clear when we booked) however there are a number of local car parks within easy walking distance where you can stay for up to 24 hours and extend this time if necessary. Unfortunately the big no-no for us was witnessing how long the food being prepared at the pizzeria was left waiting to be collected and taken to table and also the chef "blowing" on one meal....... put us off dining here.

the room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, had air conditioning (perfect for the unusual hot weather). the staff were really friendly, the breakfast was delicious, the pub area (indoor and outside) had a nice atmosphere and despite the hotel being off a main road, and the room being at the top of the stairs, it was very quiet.

the only downside was the TV did not work in our room, which did not affect how much we loved our stay. I’m sure had I spoken with a member of staff it would have been resolved.

The only problem we had was that guests along the corridor were making the most ridiculous amount of noise (laughing continuously and singing along to music), probably a bit drunk up to 1.30 in the morning. We had to get out of bed to go and find someone in the hotel to report to. We spoke with the night porter Shane who was most helpful and offered us an alternative room away from the noise. Not sure if the “noisy guests” were reprimanded. Otherwise a very nice two nights at the Globe Also enjoyed a delicious breakfast

Easy check in. Nice pub on the ground floor. Size of room (enough space to store our bags and still walk around comfortably) and the fact that it had all the stuff we could need (iron, hair dryer, kettle, coffee maker, TV, WiFi). Breakfast was really of generous size and very well made. Eating area was nicely decorated and made me comfortable relaxing and eating in there. Very comfortable beds and a warm room with the heating that we could control ourselves. Bathroom was of a good size and 3 people could easily fit in the walk in shower. We were only staying 2 nights but they've still tidied up our room and changed the towels. Polite and smiling cleaning lady.

Kitchen staff could mind their language when the customers are around. Anyway hat's off to you swearing lady because breakfast is seriously GOOD.
