Holiday Inn Kenilworth - Warwick, an IHG Hotel

I loved everything about this hotel even my Children were in love with everything about the hotel. the food was nice. Rooms are clean.

The lady at the Reception didn't know what she was doing, she didn't know how to look for our rooms. she tried charging me more for the room. I was amazed that she would be at the front deck and not know what she is doing.

The room was a good size for our family of 4, the children loved having their own big bed (not a sofa bed) and it was very clean. The café and bar were newly designed and the garden was lovely for an evening drink. Reception staff member was very engaging which was nice upon arrival and the employee who served us drinks was very happy and bubbly. This hotel didn't have an ice machine like other Holiday Inns but the morning breakfast staff made no fuss with sourcing ice and cold water for us.

A bar staff member starting cleaning around us and then asked us to move seats so he could clean further, the bar had at least an hour before it closed.

Room was a great size. Comfortable bed, nice and clean. Staff were friendly, breakfast was lovely great choice and presentation.

People above were banging, screaming and shouting until 1am. Not the hotels fault I know, but It was hard to sleep because of this. The leather chair in our room was peeling so it was all over the floor and stuck to our clothes. Could do with repairing or a new chair. Also one bedside light kept flickering whether it was switched on or off, so had that going on all night too.

Staff there were exceptional always going the extra mile to make out stay more comfortable, from check in with Mac, to breakfast with the breakfast staff who were on all weekend (sorry we didn't get your names!) To the highlight of Richard and Clint. We bonded over working nights and they were exceptional when dealing with a group of drunk men in the bar area who were making us uncomfortable as a group of young women. Couldn't fault any of the staff working that weekend and they all deserve to be commended, especially those named. Breakfast was also delicious, a perfect start to our day which was well needed with how long it was. Considering the events happening that weekend as well the price was cheap and well worth the value you receive. The beds were the most comfortable I've experienced in a hotel. We will definitely return!

Mostly other guests causing issues for us (being loud at night and the drunken men previously mentioned) but all issues were immediately resolved by staff and we couldn't be more appreciative!

The best thing about this hotel is undoubtedly the staff. They were all delightful. The location is excellent, close to the castle and to the high street. Free (and plentiful) parking is a real bonus. Our room was very quiet and the bed supremely comfortable. Nice big walk-in shower too.

The wifi didn't work, which wasn't a great issue for us, as we just used our phones. The hotel is very dated in character, but the rooms are spick and span and comfortable.

Excellent location. Liked the fact that the family rooms had two double beds rather than one double and camp beds. kids were impressed with the underfloor heating in the bathroom. Air conditioning worked well. Hairdryer was missing from the room but reception gave us one straight away when asked.

Parking spaces very small. Despite there not being that many parking spaces we managed to find a space on the two days we stayed. There was building work going on when we stayed, which we weren’t informed of on booking. Luckily we were on the 4th floor so it didn’t really affect us, as they did start work quite early!

A dog friendly hotel with comfortable beds. Great buffet choices for breakfast. One staff member appears to be managing breakfast service by himself, he was friendly and even had time to help a little boy to get some hot breakfast from buffet counter. Great location to visit Kenilworth Castle and with lots of choices of pubs and restaurants nearby. Abbey fields is around the corner, a lovely scenic place to walk the dog, the kids love the water fowl on the lake and the playground.

View from hotel room window not good, overlooking the hotel roofing but we didn't spend too much time inside. We couldn't locate any stairs to use as alternative to the 2 lifts

Amazing location literally bang in the center of the town center. Room was great with 2 really comfortable double beds! Big tv. Shower great. Nice towels and bedding. Kettle with coffee etc. Iron, Hairdryer. Didn't have their breakfast but i looked nice. Great bar with a live signer. lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the town. Lots of free parking. Staff great

Hotel is a little bit tired but wasn't awful. Two lifts but very slow.

The hotel is in a great location, near the high st. for shops and places to eat. Staff very friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice for everyone.

Although our room was clean they are dated and not enough plug sockets for 4 people. Plus only 2 towels were given, basic check for how many guests are staying. The carpet was very uneven in our room, so it needs re laying. Beds were very comfortable!

The hotel was easy to find by car, and within walking distance of the location I was visiting that weekend. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, and there was plenty of variety on offer.

The parking was tight - fortunately a fellow guest was on hand to help me get out when I left the hotel. There was a squeaky door to one of the rooms near me which made getting to sleep tricky. There was a slight musty smell.
