This is a wonderful pub/hotel, staff very keen to be helpful, efficient and friendly. Breakfast is absolutely lovely, good choices, well cooked and presented.....more than value for money. Really quirky with decoration and detail. Really liked the two armchairs and table on the landing, we made use of these, we sat there and relaxed, and still felt the atmosphere from the bar area.

We liked everything, a couple of suggestions though.....a rail on the stairs, security light at the entrance used after hours. We did mention this to Chris, who appeared to give this some thought. Worth mentioning the car park is out of action, however a free car park very near by, about 5 minutes walk was very useful.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived late in the day, pretty hungry and they reserved me a table for dinner despite the restaurant being busy. Food was reasonably priced and very tasty - I recommend the steak burger. Beer selection is good. It's a popular pub, so expect it to be lively on a Saturday night. The breakfast was excellent, as was the coffee at breakfast. I loved the location in the centre of Warwick - it's nice to look out on the town square first thing in the morning.

The TV is dated and there were only freeview channels available. A cafetiere in the room would have been nice, rather than instant coffee.

Small but comfortable room, nicely decorated and very clean. Excellent location and surprisingly quiet given it's in the centre of town. Breakfast was lovely - good quality ingredients and nicely presented. The staff were calm and professional. We stayed here while attending an event at Warwick Castle, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It is an easy walk to the castle. There are 3 parking spots on site for B&B guests (4 or 5 rooms so not everyone gets one) and this was very convenient. If you can't get in, there is a cheap public car park in New Street, literally across the street from the rear entrance to the pub. WiFi was fine for a short stay

Nothing, Everything as expected or better. Very good value.

Have to say that this hotel/pub is really lovely. All of the staff are really friendly, the food is absolutely lush and the room is spotless. Bonus points for being less than 5 minutes walk from the castle and church. I stayed in room 4, so I could hear the music from the bar playing but wasn't loud enough to disturb me getting to sleep. There are a couple of steps in the room near the bed for anyone who may have mobility issues. This is probably why the "green light" mentioned on other reviews is located where it is as it illuminates these steps. It is really more of a glow than a big green light. I'm used to my sons night light, so it didn't make any difference to me. With parking, there's enough for 4 cars if the 1st car parks in the right place, maybe some lines on the floor may help ease the issue. I didn't have any issues with it at all. I would definitely recommend a stay here to anyone looking for a cosy break away and would definitely return if I came back tovisit thee castle again. 💕

Well presented, decor tidy throughout. Lovely vibrant atmosphere in the bar/restaurant with many locals choosing to eat there (a good sign!) very clean and well organised, food was lovely and the staff were welcoming and sociable. We ate dinner and breakfast, both meals were of a high standard, and value for money considering the central location. The en-suite bedroom was again well appointed, very clean and the beds were super comfortable- I slept well which is rare when away from home. There is parking to the rear, and a public car park opposite, I had no issues getting a space. The bar is in a central location in town and shops so there was a little noise from downstairs but that is to be expected when staying in a bar hotel and it was minimal. Situated just a couple minutes walk to the castle, I found the location great for the tourist sites I was visiting, I felt safe walking back in the evening as the pavements were well lit. The area is wonderful, I will definitely visit again and stay at the Tilted Wig.

Nothing, we had a great stay

Lovely place to stay, beautiful decor and amazing food had for dinner and breakfast.

The fire exit light in room is so bright it's impossible to sleep without doing something about it. This resulted in an unexpected challenge in the early hours. At first a shower cap filled with toilet paper over the light. It was still too bright, and the green glow taunted us. So we thought what else is stretchy and would fit round the light, our solution, a pair of boxing shorts that did the trick. So top tip, stay at this lovely place but come prepared with a pair of boxing shorts and you'll sleep well.

Emily was so friendly and helpful when I arrived and informed me of a free car park close by. The food here is top quality, I had the pie of the day, and breakfast equally top notch. Our room was cosy, clean and comfortable and they were generous with the complementary items (bathroom and tea and coffee). The bed was lovely, no complaints there. Our room overlooked the Market Square, with a lovely original sash window, and even when this was open, it was much quieter than I expected. Actually, the whole place was calm, friendly and very relaxing.

Not that I didn't like, but the bathroom sink/ spout is not designed to fill the kettle, so that was a bit awkward. A little jug would of helped. We were in room 4, it had an emergency (green) light on in the ceiling. No problem until all the lights are off and you want to sleep, then it felt too bright and did bother me. But, there are a couple of steps in the room and I guess for safety reasons they need people to see and not fall. I would recommend a sleep mask.

Ideal location, bedroom was well equipped and really comfortable. The bed was large, super comfortable mattress and pillows! Quiet and relaxing night for two weary travellers. The breakfast was incredible, such high quality, and much more than we expected since it is included in the price - we were really impressed. All of the staff were really helpful, service spot on - professional and relaxed. Both of us work in hospitality, so we really appreciate the hard work that goes into running a place like this, and the Tilted Wig impressed us in every aspect. Definitely recommend.

Breakfast was included, it was really good high quality food and was available till 11am so we could have a lie in. Room was really stylish, clean and comfortable. Excellent location, all the bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Warwick castle just a few minutes drive, but you could definitely walk it. The manager Chris was lovely, gave us some good recommendations for local bars and made our evening even better. Can’t wait to come back. Quiet so we got a good nights sleep, parking is limited but we had no issues getting a space.

Nothing, it was great.

The location, the food and the friendly staff ! ..the room was very clean,I slept well but bed was very hard and my wife did not sleep well.

The lights on the bedside cabinets had no bulbs and power socket had no power to it (told they knew about this ) also shower door seal broke so water pouring out into bathroom...no car parking as advertised so had to walk from public car park with bags several streets away !! Also no cereal at breakfast and when asked why not I was told it was to save on costs? Main reason for choosing this location was the on site car parking as I have recently had a full knee replacement, from what I understand the car park will not be replaced (this seriously needs to be changed on the Web site as we would not have chosen this accommodation had we been aware at time of booking!!!
