Very nice, comfy and well kept inn. Food was delicious and bed very comfortable. Room deco was very simple but also It was very clean and the staff was really helpful and accommodating to all our needs and requests. We could not find much to complain about hehe ;) so all round a great place.

We were unsure about the location mainly because there’s really not much to do around the area unless you travel minimum 45 mins out and then back. So for us this proved tiring and a bit pricey as it rapidly adds up with petrol, bridge toll etc. this really has nothing to do with the inn but it defo will be an issue to reconsider before us going back.

Hosts Jo and Lindy were very welcoming and eager to please and made us feel very much at home. We arrived in the evening and there were lots of locals eating - we saw some of the food as we walked through the bar and instantly wished we had not eaten in Hull, but had waited until we had checked in! Our bedroom, all public areas including the bars, conservatory and eating areas were all exceptionally clean and well kept. We knew the room would be on the small side, but it was comfortable, well furnished and decorated in a simple and tasteful manner - no garish wallpaper or eye-watering patterns. It was restful and quiet and the window opened fully with a view of the reed beds. The curtains were effective in keeping out the light and enabling us to sleep longer in the morning. Breakfast was included in the price and we had the full English breakfast option, which was cooked to our order and there was plentiful tea and coffee. We thought it was very good value for money. So much so we decided to stay another night! We had supper on the second night and while the menu is not extensive, it is all freshly cooked and came to the table piping hot. The waiting staff were attentive and personable and there was a lovely friendly atmosphere as the hosts took pains to chat with customers (locals and guests) alike. We will definitely be staying at the Haven Inn again!

There was nothing we didn't like. There were no silly frills such as free toiletries or pens but all the essentials were supplied such as little jars of tea, sugar and coffee and supplies of milk together with a decent-sized electric kettle and 2 nice big mugs.

Everything is geared to you having an enjoyable stay. Every staff member was customer aware, and went that extra mile to ensure your needs were satisfied. Regarding the food on offer, basic Pub Grub, but well presented, obviously well thought about, and as someone remarked'' you'll never be hungry here', as the portions are more than adequate. The fact that The Haven is very popular within the local area says it all, it has a terrific reputation, and in Jo and Lindy you have the most genial and welcoming of hosts. I hope to return at some time in the future, and cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you all for a delightful stay.

Maybe some drawers to put clothes away in.

Friendly staff, couldn’t do enough for us! Owners are lovely. Beautiful setting, views and area lovely. We arrived drenched from driving through a storm on our motorbike, staff & the workers helped straight away, taking out wet gear to the boiler room to dry out, helping us store the bike safely. Room was nice & comfortable. Breakfast was very nice!

The coffee in the rooms & restaurant tasted a little cheap. In the room it was a bit stuck together in the glass jar. A bit stale.

This is by far the most hospitable pub/hotel I’ve ever stayed at all of the staff are super friendly, polite and caring they all seem to enjoy working at the establishment and the owners are just an amazing couple so dedicated to making sure guests are comfortable and happy, we definitely left feeling like we’d made two wonderful friends, stick to what doing and I don’t think you can go wrong

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about anything

A lovely family run hotel. The staff were all amazing, friendly and efficient. The owner Jo changed our booking when I made a mistake in the dates. The food was great in the evening and again at breakfast. They couldn't have made us feel more at home. Thoroughly recommended.

It didn't affect us at all as we had enjoyed pre dinner drinks, wine with dinner and took a glass of wine to our room but just to note that the bar closes at nine in the evening.

Although it was wet and windy, the location is fabulous, the staff are friendly, the restaurant and the bar areas are extremely tastefully decorated, the owner and I have a mutual affection for voyage maison. This is the second time we have stayed here and everything was great. Nice big room with a comfortable bed and lovely furnishings, it was clean and the sheets and towels smelt amazing. Friendly chat and nice time spent having a drink with the owners and visitors during the evening. We both absolutely enjoyed the full English breakfast, great quality and plentiful and it’s a bonus that coffee is served piping hot. We will be returning to sample the Sunday roast.

Friendly welcome in a perfect location just off the English Coastal Path. We really appreciated the excellent, early breakfast, which allowed us to set off promptly on a long leg the following day. The room was spotless and the distant view of the Humber Bridge, was an unexpected bonus. Thanks for a great stay.

The staff were friendly and professional with a helpful pleasant attitude. Nothing was to much trouble. The rooms were spotlessly clean and bright and comfortable. The standard and choice of freshly cooked food was outstanding and delicious. The full English breakfast was really, really exceptional. The owners were very welcoming and like their staff, nothing was to much trouble. Very informative of the local area with plenty of good advice for days out and best routes to take. Really impressed they take the time to ask is everything OK with the service given. Will definitely be returning to Haven Inn in the near future.

From the moment we entered the bar to the moment we left, Lindy, Joe and all the staff made us feel so welcome. The Haven Inn is a home from home. We ate both nights of our stay and breakfast both mornings, the food is exceptional - especially the home made chips!! The lounge, conservatory, bar and restaurant are all very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We stayed in room 9 which is very contemporary, comfortable and clean. The shower was lovely and worked well. The complementary shampoo, conditioner and soap was much appreciated, as were the tea making facilities. If we needed refills of anything we only had to ask and nothing was too much trouble. Lindy and Joe have so obviously worked hard over the last few years and it's definitely paid off. We would also like to comment on how lovely the staff were, particularly Gemma who gave us some sound local advice which helped our day out in Hull go very smoothly and enjoyable. We will definitely be returning to continue our adventures in the local area. Finally there is ample free parking for customers which is another bonus. The other thing I would like mention is that we had a room that overlooked the rear of the property with field views and a stream, what I also noticed was how spotless the bin and woodstore areas were. Thank you again.

Nothing to not like!!!
