B/W Plus Lancashire Manor Hotel

This hotel was booked for a 4 night stay over Christmas for my parents who live in North Yorkshire and wanted to spend Christmas with family close by. Lovely hotel, lovely comfortable spacious double room, modern and clean with good facilities in the room. Kind pleasant staff, good breakfast my parents said was lovely and a good choice of full English or continental. Would definitely recommend to others.. thankyou to the staff that kept an eye out for my 82 year old parents for me it was appreciated very much. Also or ringing me to tell me their mobile phone had been left behind.

Nothing at all.. e erything was perfect. There was only breakfast on food wise over the Christmas period, however this was explained at the time of booking and we didn't require any other meals.

Amazing accommodation. Comfortable and very clean. All facilities you could need were available with the lovely added touch of the welcome pack was appreciated. Perfect place for a much needed short getaway in what was a busy, happy year tinged by a little sadness in the past few weeks. A real home from home. Would come back to this apartment on a regular basis. Great spot for the Broads and days out in our favourite town of Southwold. Communication from the owner up to and including the break was excellent even to the point of organizing some flowers for my wife at my request prior to arriving. EXCELLENT

Nothing to complain about.

The size of the bedroom was great and the bed was very comfortable and the reception staff were incredibly helpful and friendly as were the restaurant staff.

I really did not like The fact that signs downstairs told people to smoke outside which was outside below our bedroom. People from a wedding were talking into the early hours and after a good 30 minutes I eventually called reception to ask them to move. The same happened around 6.30am when 2 or 3 men were chatting below our window again. 4 hours sleep doesn't suit me. Also the restaurant staff put unused cutlery back in the cutlery drawer/ trays. I was trying to work out how he knew 100% that it was unused and why he felt it didn't need cleaning (covid it still around and this wasn't very hygienic at all)

Warm welcome; well appointed bedroom with full facilities; excellent breakfast. The layout and structure of the buildings, sympathetically blending the old with the new gave an added dimension. A real oasis in an otherwise unattractive area.

Beyond the control of the hotel, noise from surrounding industries intrudes when sitting outside in the beautifully laid out terrace and gardens.

Good location. Welcoming and helpful staff. First class room in every way.

Fried eggs at breakfast looked very sad and unappetiisng. However a delightful waitress offered to cook scrambled egg for me which came up perfect.. All the rest of the breakfast menu was splendidly cooked and delicious and the young waiting staff could not have been more helpful and polite. A very positive stay all round.

Room was fantastic. Great size, big bed. Spotlessly clean. Shower was amazing. Liked the TV, modern and a good size. I liked that the lights in the hallway had movement sensors so we're only on when people were passing, not the whole night.

Room was a little pricey but couldn't knock it. If I'm being really picky: Some areas of the bathroom could do with a touch up of paint. The bed could have been a bit comfier. There needed to be brighter lights around the dressing table/desk area.

We stayed overnight, as a wedding we were attending was being held there. Comfortable bed and pillows.

No hand-wash at sink, so nothing to cleanse your hands with, after using the toilet. This is a basic necessity that was not present. No cover on one of the light switches on dressing table. Only one bedside table, although a double room, with a double bed for two people. This left me with nowhere to put my drink or phone overnight.

The building and bedroom suite we had, had character We are in the bar and overall the food was good but the Cock and bull I had, had very little steak and too many peppercorns in the sauce, but the flavours were nice

When people were in the bar area prior to us going to eat, our room which was directly above this area was noisy... Although I also thought I booked for 2 rooms 2 people in each, it turned out only 1 person was booked per room and we had to pay extra

Staff friendly and efficient food good and no hold ups booking in or out. Room was clean and warm shower was hot with no shortage of hot water.

Decor a little tired and encountered a silver fish in shower room. Extract fan isolator switch seemed faulty in shower room needed switched on off and manipulated to make fan operate.Room no.18. Not much coffee and milk in bedroom. Single pillow only per person.

Breakfast and food was really good and great service by all he staff, the rooms were clean and tidy and offsite parking was a plus, good location for the road network for that onward travel and the beds very comfortable.

I didn't like the fact there was an open WIFI system even though I have a VPN network with a low mobile signal on two networks EE and O2 it made it difficult at times for connection.
