Plaza Chorley; Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

Exterior tidy good car park ample parking spaces. Reception clean, drinks machine coffee etc payment by card, complimentary water, leaflets for local area etc. Room clean adequate storage and hanging space. Bathroom clean, bath with shower over, towels. Comfortable bed, t.v. complementary tea, coffee, milk, chocolate and single biscuit per guest. Overall a nice hotel for overnight stay or work would recommend. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on the good.

Visited here a few times to meet family and it's always been a pleasant experience staff are great and rooms are clean 👌.

This time we visited unfortunately there had been snow fall and had melted and frozen over leaving a thick layer of ice that anyone could fall over on, aftrler speaking with staff they mentioned the carpark was the responsibility of the Yarrow Bridge pub and that they hadn't arranged for gritters or the clearing of it my partner nearly fell over on a number of occasions, I attempted to grit part of the road so that we had somewhere to walk but the closest grit bin was empty and looked like it hadn't been filled in years

It was anonymous, cheap & cheerful & suited me for a location near some work I was doing. Easy parking. From carpets & decor, I’m assuming it’s a former premier inn. Nice little biscuits & mint chocs in room.

Receptionist on arrival seemed to be having a bad day. It’s quite tired & was clean enough, except there were hairs in the sink & bath & the bin hadn’t been emptied completely. I wouldn’t have bothered particularly except there was a proud comments card left in the room with the cleaners name on claiming to have taken great care in the cleaning!

Reason for the stay we arrived on the Monday due to My husband having to have a operation on the Tuesday he was supposed to be able to come home on wednesday but due to been poorly he wasn't allowed home so I booked the plaza again and same again Thursday the receptionist and manager even the lady who cleans the rooms I think was called katey were very kind, helpful and very understanding wed, Thurs and Friday they let me stay in my room until 1pm usually there is a charge for this but each time they let me stay for free which to me and my husband and family was a very big help as I didn't know the area and get panicked with anxiety about driving and staying places I don't know but they were exceptional and very understanding in predicament I will be forever grateful thank you Eleanor

Although Booking.com had not passed our request for a cot, Anthony went above and beyond to help us get sorted. He moved us from an upstairs room to one on the ground floor, found a travel cot for us and sorted us with bedding. He couldn't have done more to accommodate and help us to enjoy our stay. Fantastic work Anthony, thank you so much again!

Not a criticism of Plaza Chorley, we didn't like that Booking.com did not pass on all of our booking details to the hotel

Excellent location, lovely clean room, pleasant helpful staff, i wanted to check in an hour or so early and the lady on reception organised that for me..the room had a tv, tea and coffee a hairdryer and complmentary bisuits and chocolate.

The only thing missing for me was a lack of plug sockets, there wasnt one near the bed and the available ones couldnt accomodate my adapter as it was set too low down on the desk for it to fit in the socket comfortably but it wasnt the end of the world, i just charged things one at a time!

Location was good for us. There was plenty of parking and it was quiet of an evening. I was pleased to have a ground floor room. The staff were quick to respond when we needed the curtain track to be mended. The staff were very good when we had any questions.

We were disappointed that there was not a cooked breakfast option but there was somewhere close by to have a hot breakfast . We had no other problems.

No fuss, great coffee machine in the lobby. Clean room and comfortable bed. Lovely friendly staff. We needed the minimum of attention as we were visiting family and friends locally so we really appreciated the ease of our stay. We ate at the Yarrow Bridge next door when necessary which was also welcoming and good value.

Nothing! It suited us perfectly.

The location was great for what i needed and is located right next to a Greene King Restaurant. the hotel was clean and the room was spacious and cosy. The bathroom was great, was pleased with the overall stay.

I booked the hotel with the premise that there was a restaurant within the hotel as it marks that it holds a restaurant. However, the restaurant that it refers to is the Greene King across the carpark that they do not have links with. As i was travelling for work i get an allowance on my account for meals which i was unable to use due to the restaurant being separate. it's no issue as the restaurant was lovely and really only a stone throw away from the hotel, i just wanted to make aware for other people travelling for business purposes.

Very clean and set back off the road with plenty of parking.

When we arrived we was told there had been some painting done around the hotel, if our door was propped open it meant that the door frame had been done. This was the case when we got to our room we could shut the door but the room still smelt of paint all night and in the hallway when we left in the morning
