The Georgian Swansea

I stayed in the Georgian which is a satellite hotel to the main Morgans Hotel which is literally across the road. This made the Georgian a quiet peaceful location with an excellent lounge area on the ground floor suitable for relaxation or catching up with business tasks in equal measure. The breakfast is provided in the main Morgans restaurant and the full breakfast option was exceptional. Service was polite and very efficient. The Georgian is a beautiful old building full of character and charm and was perfect for a short business visit to Swansea. Car parking was available immediately behind the Georgian and reasonably priced at £4 per 24hrs stay.

The hotel is trippy, whoever decorated it has a great eye. Pictures on the wall make it more like a stately home than a hotel. That combined with the four poster bed and chandelier in the bathroom I kid you not the place is perfect. Coffee is a Hotel branded pod machine that I am guilty of drinking most of the pods (they were top notch), the bathroom had a fantastic array of shampoos and creams. and the whole place was tastefully decorated with enough plugs to sink a ship. Breakfast was an additional charge and worth every penny, I opted for the Eggs Royal and again they were perfect. A good arrangement of food with very courteous non-rushing staff. A good point is if you get to the property without reading any of the additional information then turn around at the front door and go in the hotel across the road to register and book in Couldn't be better!

Blue? Who thought of the outside colour? It detracts from the fantastic internal décor and royal look to the place. Although part of me thinks its "in your face" look at least makes it stand out. Oh and have an arrow saying which way it is to the rooms :-)

We didn’t end up staying at the Georgian but instead at it’s sister hotel Morgan’s. For this hotel you have to check in at the Morgan’s hotel and when checking in we had been allocated a room in the main hotel. The room was very generous in size, it had excellent facilities including a large TV, a bath with shower over, coffee machine and towelling robes. The staff were really friendly. The hotel has a lovely bar area to relax in and a restaurant where we enjoyed breakfast. The food was really good there was a buffet of continental breakfast and the hot food was made to order and very tasty.

Wow, this massively exceeded my expectations. Started with the super friendly woman on reception greeting me ( I think it was Amy! Apologies if not!). The Georgian is a beautiful building inside and and out and the room Heart of Oak did not disappoint! The four poster bed, roll top bath and absolutely lush bathroom decor was simply amazing. Looking forward to my next stay here very soon!

They made our trip worth every second, every penny. It was my husband's birthday and they made sure that we have the time of our life. The bathtub was so beautiful. It felt like being a royal person and living like one. The coffee machine was so good. And the staffs were so welcoming and they gave us a warm welcome. I'm really planning to go there again.

The staff were fantastic. Meghan, Iliza, Harry, all so welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely, and the bed was comfortable. Access to the town and shops is good, with the seafront within a short distance.

The noise from adjoining rooms, which ruined one evening , and is possibly a regular thing. A solution would be cctv or a night watch to prevent unwanted visitors.

The hotel & its sister hotel - Morgans - are superb. We had travelled a long way before arriving & the room was on the top floor of the Georgian, which has no lift. Thankfully the staff were extremely helpful & allowed us to take a vacant room in the Morgans, which is just on the opposite side of the street. We would definitely stay at either hotel again, highly recommended.

No lift for our very big & heavy luggage!

The heart of oak room was beautiful and the facilities were great, really luxurious stay.

It would have been good if the bar was open downstairs but understand it’s newly opened. Also the facilities on booking.com stated bathrobes but these weren’t present in the room.

Great location close to bars restaurants and shops lovely clean room, breakfast was fabulous. Staff were very friendly and professional. Complimentary drink at the bar a nice touch. Bed was very comfy. Would highly recommend and stay again.

I am very critical when I stay in a hotel and I struggled to Find anything I didn’t like

Room had a luxury Georgian ambiance. Great service from knowledgeable staff. Such a clean and very comfortable room . On checking in they gave a drinks voucher which added so much extra value to an already great deal. Highly recommend the Georgian in Swansea.

It was way above expectations. Nothing detracted from my stay.
