Wynberg House Bed & Breakfast

Really enjoyed the experience at the property. Great hosts who struck a good balance between being welcoming and giving guests space in a shared property. Beautiful property- cosy and comfortable whilst showing the character of the people who own it. Really liked the toiletries and little touches for guests in the room.

I think it could be made clearer from the description when booking which room you are getting and the facilities with that room, i.e. do you have a private loo or not and living area. This was not clear from the room descriptions and helps to set expectations when booking.

Friendly hosts, good cooked breakfast, nice location, comfortable bed, useful en suite loo and basin. Lots of biscuits and hot drinks available in the adjacent sitting area. You feel welcomed into the home. We enjoyed the little dogs, others might not! Attractive terrace and view from sitting area. Overall we enjoyed our one night stay

Nothing to dislike but some points for others to bear in mind if reading: Not a full bathroom en suite, bathing is a shared bathroom 2 floors up. Stairs are quite steep and the bedroom a bit tight so not the best for anyone with mobility issues. Bedroom window opens into conservatory used as laundry area, which would limit view and might not be ideal in hot weather.

Comfortable, quiet, clean. Approachable host with lots of knowledge about nearby options re food/exploring. Good breakfast Easy on street parking available. The house was packed with curiosities. Nice park nearby for walking in, but worth having a car for Swansea centre visits.

Worth mentioning that there is a (small) dog at the property. Not a problem for me, but may be relevant for future guests. Breakfast time was stated as 08:30am, as this is what the other guests wanted. I'm sure flexibility on this timing would be available with discussion.

The hosts were very welcoming and we were made to feel at home from the very beginning. We stayed just one night so didnt get time to visit the area unfortunately. Our room was very cosy and had an adjoining living room and balcony which were an added bonus. The furniture was very comfortable and tea, coffee, cookies, chocolate bars etc. were available.There was also no shortage of extra towels, soaps, shampoo etc. Julien and Melanie went out of their way to offer their guests a very enjoyable stay in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Mel and Julien were wonderful hosts. They made us feel so welcome and had left lovely treats on the bed such as snacks, biscuits, crisps and water. The bed and breakfast is less than a 5 minute walk from Singleton Park which was fantastic as we were attending an event there. The bed was so comfortable and the slippers and bathrobes were an added bonus! I loved all the antiques in the bedroom and I have already recommended to friends and family. The breakfast was also outstanding - we definitely will be back.

Breakfast was amazing, perfectly cooked and well presented, table was beautifully set. We had a quiet room with adjoining lounge and a wonderful patio. Decor throughout was lovely. Television gave access to all channels including subscription channels. Plenty of tea, coffee, drinking chocolate with biscuits and crips, etc all included. Hosts were among the best we have ever come across. Parking on the street was fine, able to park right outside the property. Really good value for money

Everything was more than adequate

Breakfast was excellent, and the hosts couldn't be friendlier. Location was within 10 mins drive of the event we were attending, and there were plenty of local shops and restaurants nearby. Readily available on street parking nearby. Have booked again!

Would have loved an en-suite shower but the building does not lend to this. On a fairly steep hill which may be a problem for less able guests, and likewise the accommodation has plenty of stairs too.

Very cozy, warm and right next to singleton park, which was why we were visiting. Tom Grennan concert. Food was heaven in my mouth.so 😋 yummy. They literally thought of everything. Beautiful House and a lovely couple who took good care of us. Mel was lovely topping up coffee as drank away..I love my coffee in the morning. The house absolutely beautiful 😍.

Mel and Julien are absolutely wonderful hosts. They made us feel so comfortable and welcome ❤️. Their house is beautiful with lots of amazing antiques from all around the world. They provided us with so many toiletries and treats, we loved it! The breakfast was delicious, we will miss them! Our room had a lovely private terrace and their adorable little dogs liked to join us out there. Mel and Julien are lovely company. There is a very conveniently located bus stop nearby for easy access to The Mumbles and the Gower. The botanical garden near the house is beautiful and the beach is a short walk away. It was a wonderful treat and we'd love to return one day. Thank you so much!

Visit made special by our hosts Max and Daisy (two cute dogs!!) ably assisted by Julian & Mel!! Comfortable bed. Separate private lounge, and terrace outside. The rooms are furnished in a wonderfully cluttered style with books, ornaments, trinkets and interesting objet d'arts, to keep us occupied. Had a great breakfast with the hosts. Felt like staying over with friends!! Thank You!! Be aware there is an en suite toilet, but the main bath/shower room (which is lovely!) is upstairs and shared. Not a problem for us but others may not like.
