Towers Hotel & Spa

We had a lovely, large room with plenty of cupboard space, tea-making facilities, a fully equipped TV, and a modern bathroom. We had a delicious cooked breakfast every morning; one could choose which items one wanted. We had a tasty meal in the hotel restaurant in the evenings; there was plenty of choice. The hotel pool was pleasant and warm. The staff, especially the receptionists, were very helpful to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and we were impressed how friendly they were too! There was a bus service five minutes away from the hotel to Swansea town, which was very useful.

It would have been nice if there were towels rails or hooks in the bathroom, there was only a single one on the door!

There was a major concert on, which they didn’t prepare of in regards to food and maybe opening kitchen a little earlier so we could eat before concert. Continental breakfast was limited. Cooked perfect was ok, the meat quality was very good, but the rest was meh. One Staff member in the breakfast service was, let’s say a little abrupt and rude. Treatment for the spa was on the high ride and personally would pay the price they was trying to charge.

The staff was very kind and helpful, the food was very delicious, and we loved the pool, the jacuzzi, and the room service.

The wifi was a bit doggie however, our own 4G also got lost inside the buildings. At the end of our stay, there was a wedding which made the hotel fully booked for the weekend and the staff forgot to tell us about some changes that this caused, like we should have booked a table for our breakfast on our last morning. Luckily, we could get room service instead, but it was a bit unfortunate that the staff didn’t let us know in advance.

The hotel was well presented in lovely grounds with superb facilities. Our room was immaculate and a nice size, including the bathroom. If I was being picky I always prefer a walk in shower rather than a shower over the bath but that’s a personal thing. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming and even booked a taxi for us to get us to the event we were attending. Finally breakfast in the morning was first rate. Cooked and presented beautifully in a nice airy dining room. Really enjoyed our stay, will be using them again for future events down that way.

As mentioned previously the shower over the bath, I prefer a nice big walk in shower

The food was exceptionally lovely for 'pub grub'. Large portions and really tasty, and not too expensive either. The rooms were very comfortable albeit a little dated but we really enjoyed them nonetheless. We had a room that was on the lower ground floor opening onto a patio which was lovely, although there was no seating there in the winter months I imagine it will be very nice when the weather changes. Our room had a bath and all the amenities we needed including an iron/ironing board, hair dryer and kettle with refreshments. The spa was lovely, the pool is a great size, there is a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi in the spa, and massage treatments available. Book well in advance though as they are fully booked a lot of the time! There are plenty of sunbeds around for lounging around the pool. However, most of those were reserved for those having treatments which was a bit unfortunate as they were reserved for the whole day and were only occupied for about an hour. Nice walks around the grounds and outside the hotel in the local village.

My bed in our twin room (room number 21) was very springy and quite uncomfortable. My mum had the other bed and it was really comfortable! The decor is rather out-dated but by no means doesn't spoil your stay, if anything adds to the charm but some people may find this a put off. The bed reservations are a nuisance around the pool. Otherwise a lovely stay!

The spacious pool, and plenty of sunbeds , reccomend the salt scrub massage. The food was excellent and the restaurant staff very friendly and accommodating . The rooms were spotless .Friendly manager. as a few hiccups but most resolved quickly .A very enjoyable and relaxing few days.

The reception for the TV is appalling ,it kept cutting out and its not easy to install programs. The lift was not working due to vandalism by visiting footballers , therefore I was not able to have some treatments or use the spa ammentities on higher floors. Having to pay £7.50 for dressing gown and slippers due to booking with booking .com and not direct with hotel and not being on a spa package which is not advertised or informed of beforehand., it is owned separate to the hotel but for guests to use . A member of staff on reception informed us if the spa was busy we could not use it between 11am and 3pm as day packages had priority, but on speaking to the manager he said no that was not true.

We came for a one night stay as we were attending a concert in Swansea and this hotel couldn’t be anymore perfect. The room was lovely and really spacious and the hotel grounds were beautiful. There was one lady behind reception (we didn’t get her name) who recommended us a car park for the concert which saved us both money and time which we were so grateful for. The breakfast was really tasty with both a cooked breakfast and continental option. Overall, we had an amazing stay and I wouldn’t definetly stay there again.

Air conditioned hotel was a perfect location for our short golf trip. Breakfast was delicious as were the evening light bites. Pool and spa were excellent and clean. Staff were fantastic, everyone we spoke to were helpful and happy in their work! Lovely fox appeared at night as well 😁❤️ Will definitely be looking to book another weekend trip and sample some more of the South Wales hospitality.

Would have liked a room with a view, but the outside courtyard was lovely in the morning with a brew.

Lovely superior room we stayed in , nice size bed and a decent size room . We went to the tribute night that included a 2 course meal , it was amazing ! we had the best time and the food was delicious ! Staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome .

The breakfast the next day wasn’t great . I had the cooked breakfast , the bacon was full of fat and the sausages were very cheap sausages . The potato tots were oily and the toast was very thin bread . The scrambled egg and beans were the best part of it . I was disappointed , I would have thought a spa hotel breakfast that the products used would have been much nicer . You can tell it’s batch cooking and they just need to get it out . We ended up leaving it , it was the only one that left us disappointed with the stay . We would stay again but not have the breakfast .

The hotel is simply beautiful. Set in a quiet resort type area. I was on a business trip alone and it was so peaceful. Had double doors on to a terrace, massive room with a large bathroom. The lady on reception couldn't be more friendly, in fact, they were all fantastic and the Spa was beautiful too. I'd recommend if you're not to bothered about the massage but like a swim and jacuzzi after a long day.. around 9-930pm is the perfect time. I can't speak about the evening meals , however breakfast starts at 7am.. perfect for business trips, and is included in room fees. Lovely cooked breakfast and continental . . Again the staff can't do enough for you. Thanks to all for a lovely stay.
