Little Bullocks Farm

Fantastic place. Not far from the airport but quiet. Clean, cozy welcoming, spacious. The host is fantastic. We will choose it again for a travel from Stansted. Thank you :)

We liked all.

The room had nice comfortable beds and a private bathroom, plenty of space for four people to rest comfortably. The breakfast selection was fantastic, the hosts had thought of everything for an early traveller to get up and help themselves. Some people may be grumpy not to have a hot breakfast, but this isn't viable for the hosts with people leaving at various times for the airport. Very short journey to the airport, well directed by our host.

The room was tired and needed a spruce up. A simple duvet with a cover would be better for us personally. The same with the bathroom, not a major overhaul, just a spruce up.

The house was quite rural, which we liked, so very quiet. There were 3 of us and the room was very spacious and comfortable. There was a large window which let in lots of natural light and we were able to have the window open at night for fresh air. The bathroom was large and the shower produced lots of hot water for all of us. The breakfast area was very nice, with tables set for each room and a wide variety of options for the morning. We left quite early, so just took advantage of the coffee and a few "to go" items. The grounds are so pretty and well kept. We would return in the future.

The attention to detail was simply amazing - shower gel, soap, cotton buds, bins, tea station, soft carpet, door hooks... the list is endless. So clean, so calm, and oh my goodness the BREAKFAST!!! - even though we had to check out very early every morning, there was crumpets, plenty milk, bread options, tons of cerals, fresh fruit, ham and cheese, yoghurts, butter, marg, coffee, tea, orange juice, desserts, just everything. And it was all clean and fresh and super organised. Totally amazed and didn't expect such quality!

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Best breakfast options I ever found at a hotel, especially if you are not after a full English. I travel very much for business and never did I have such amazing breakfast. Thank you! Exceptionally clean, well sized room, especially for the price. Very close to airport, not even 5 minutes by car. Very convenient too that there was no breakfast times either, we had a jet lag and were starving at 6am - no problem at this accommodation. Quiet, parking free and right in front of the door. Very comfy beds, not too hard, not too soft- just perfect. Very comfy pillows too. Superb mini bar choices, coffee, tea, even hot chocolate. Couldn't recommend more!

It was one of the best hotel stays I ever had, nothing to moan about. It could not have been any better.

I needed a hotel close to Stansted Airport, between flights. This hotel is very close to the airport, by taxi. The owner was very helpful and asked all my questions online. Its a short taxi ride away from the airport. My flight was delayed and we only had only a few hours of sleep but it really counted. Everything is well thought and easy to use. Beds were very comfortable and the breakfast and coffee were a God send. The next morning everything went smoothly and it was very easy to check in at the airport.

Everything was great. I had a few problems with the taxi on arrival, but that was not the fault of the hotel. The company that I booked through, changed the providers and I didnt know where to find the taxi. The best is to check your emails once when you land and get the drivers details. They cannt park and wait and also they need to pay 7 pounds to enter the airport grounds. Because I could not find the taxi, I had to pay extra because the driver waited more for us. The next day went smoothly. It would really be great if the hotel could arrange transfers. It would make a big difference.

Little Bullocks Farm was easily found by the Satnav. Lots of room to park our car for the week. Julie gave us a very lovely welcome and showed us our accommodation and the breakfast room. Our host was very helpful and booked a taxi to take us to Stansted Airport the next day. We enjoyed a really good night's sleep in a really comfortable bed and the area is very quiet. Good shower and lovely fluffy towels provided. The breakfast room provided everything we could possibly have wanted (continental) and more. Everything was very clean and welcoming and we felt very relaxed.

Cannot think of anything I would improve

Continental breakfast was really a positive surprise. Selection was huge. Did enjoy it and there was plenty of it. Room was nice and quiet, though quite small. But everything was spotless clean, thank you for that! And also for the great breakfast. Beatiful details everywhere.

Was hard to find the owner on arrival. She was rather busy elsewhere :-) . There was an elder gentleman who showed me to my room though, told that the lady of the house is appearing later, took a long time before she arrived. When she did turn up she was very lovely. Heating was not on to start with, so I was freezing for a while before it was switched on. Small not so nice details, but overall everything was perfect in the end. Can consider staying there again, if I don't need shops around. Buy something in forehand or order delivery if you don't have your own car with you!

The property was easy to find and had lots of parking space available for my car. It was very cheap to leave my car here while on holiday for only £3 a night. The owners were very lovely and told me everything I needed to know and pre booked our early morning taxi to take us to the airport. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable and it was a comfortable size for three travellers. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Breakfast was also available but we left super early so weren’t around for it however owners said we could take breakfast bars if we wanted. There was also wifi available which was helpful as my phone had poor service there

I personally didn’t mind it as noise doesn’t bother me while sleeping however if you are a light sleeper be aware when you or your neighbour turns the light on in the bathrooms the extractor is quite noisy and walls quite thin as we could hear the people next door getting up early an hour before we needed to be up.

the decor in a rural atmosphere, many details made me feel like in "Anne of Green Grables". equipped with everything we needed. surroundings - like a beautiful dream, amazing, we walked around the village with great pleasure. kitchen (shared) well equipped, each room has its own table, basic products for breakfast provided, including fruits

the food for breakfast wasn't varied and was unhealthy (yoghurt only with sugar, same for cereals, the only darker break was really old, small choice of bread additives besides various marmalades, except fruits no fresh food - everything bought and packaged)
