We arrived back at Stansted at an ungodly hour in the morning and were pleased to be able to fall into bed before driving home. For various reasons I had booked parking elsewhere before deciding on this hotel; on another occasion I would use it for parking too.

This isn't really a complaint -- the owners have to offer the services that make financial sense to them -- but the checkout and airport shuttle times were based on all flights leaving and arriving in the middle of the day. We were able to pay for a late checkout (by one hour), which was necessary because of the time our flight got in, but we missed breakfast and the last shuttle to the airport. The hotel decor is a bit tired, but we weren't there long enough for it to matter.

I have stayed at this hotel before when I have been flying out from Stansted. The location is perfect and quiet unlike other hotels I have stayed in around the airport which were very noisy. The staff were absolutely delightful and this was one of the main reasons we returned again for our next stay. They were all extremely helpful and the lady we met at reception both time was extremely welcoming and helpful. Sadly this time we didn’t get a chance to have breakfast as our flight was too early but it was very nice indeed on our previous stay. I would definitely stay again and 100% recommended this hotel.

The room we stayed in was in the process of being done up I think as there was a tested paint sample on the wall and the headboard hadn’t been installed but for an overnight stay it was perfectly fine and comfortable.

The bedrooms were fine. The dining room looked good, but the breakfast didn’t, the driver to the airport was lovely and a funny chap.

The cooked breakfast looked unappealing. Parts of the building had spiders and webs. The overnight staff wasn’t too friendly. Morning staff nicer. the signage indicating we shouldn’t go through a door, then the staff telling us we should, very confusing, and at 3am after flight delays not that welcome a confusion. Make signage clearer!

Hotel was absolutely fine for one night stay before flying out the next day. Rooms were fairly comfortable and clean. Bar area was nice, with cheap drinks, and fairly priced food. Was useful to park cars on site, which is around £8 per day. Nice large garden area to sit out with a drink..

Cheap and cheerful - nothing much to not like. Heating on in June though??

They were so kind and communicated so well. They came to pick us up from the airport no problems, faster than a bus and half the cost of Taxi. The room was so big and beds were great!!! :) We will stay here every time we need to go to the airport.

Renovations - No WIFI in our room. If you want WIFI ask for it specifically. It is a huge place, beautiful and all good, food and bar is good. Just make sure you ask for a room with WIFI - or be prepared to sit in the reception.

The hotel grounds were beautiful and it was very fancy inside the main lobby with lots of artwork. It was in the perfect location for my trip to the airport and they provided onsite parking while I went away for only £6/day. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly.

They stated there was a 24 hour shuttle bus service to the hotel however, this is not true. It begins running from 4am which was too late for my flight and then when I was due to return on the Sunday, there was no service available at all, with taxi’s costing £25+ I would have rather paid for parking at Stansted itself.

Sadly the airport shuttle was out of action and we had to get a taxi which was £25 for a 5 minute journey. The shuttle was available for the trip back to the hotel when we returned from our holiday.

I am a lone female travelling for work. I had an extremely long day of travelling and was very tired when I finally came to the hotel. I was met by two very friendly front desk staff who immediately welcomed me. I explained I was very tired and had been travelling and they organised a late check out for me so I could sleep a bit more! I was too late for dinner however they were more than happy to make me some food. I got to my room and it was one of the more beautiful/ quaint/ quirky rooms I had stayed in. I was quite amazed. After dropping my bags off my dinner was already ready which was lovely. I enjoyed the lovely corner bath and had a very restful night. For breakfast I had the full English which was again very tasty. The grounds of this hotel is also nice and they have a nice friendly cat which was cute. It was a really lovely stay and I would definitely recommend!

Nothing...............my only issue is that I didn't come to the hotel earlier in the evening to enjoy it/ was not able to stay another night.

Lovely, friendly staff. They arranged an airport shuttle for me both ways. Stansted is just a 5 minute drive. The cooked, English breakfast was excellent but maybe should have included a fresh coffee and a juice - although there is plenty of instant coffee in the room so not a problem really. Had a quiet night's sleep in a comfortable bed. and the room was warm. TV was easy to use, and to my delight, did not include the BBC channels (who needs that rubbish anyway?) but it did have Netflix and internet TV. There were lights above the bed but the switch was over by the door so I think maybe they should have a lamp on the bedside table. All in all, very satisfied and would definitely visit here again if I was going to the airport.

Great location. 5 minutes by car from Stansted Airport. Spacious room, with tea/coffee facilities (generous amount of tea, milk and coffee) and toiletries. Super clean, friendly staff and quiet location. The hotel shuttle is efficient (dropped me off at the Radisson, in the short-term parking, just a couple of minutes walk from the terminal building).

Nothing. I would recommend the hotel to market more their shuttle service. Booking a taxi at Stansted to go to the hotel (5 minutes drive) is 22 pounds!!! (The hotel shuttle is 12 pounds)
