This inn is just the best example of hospitality and how to look after your guests that I think I have ever come across. The service they provided was exceptional and it is a lovely pub in a pretty village. We were running late for dinner and would have missed order cut off time at 9pm but the team were so amazing, they called me as I was driving to them ( on the hands free) and took our order so that we could eat when we arrived. What amazing service and what this country needs more of! And the rooms ( recently opened) are really nice. Can’t recommend this lovely pub highly enough

Had a very boutique feel and the decor and furnishings were clearly well thought out.
Appreciate it’s early days, but the owners could think about: if no fridge will be in the room, provide UHT milk cartons for morning coffee/tea. We had to wait until 9am to get some milk from the bar, which for some is later than preferred for the morning caffeine; the more mature traveller won’t appreciate a TV that is only wifi, espc when the wifi signal is not strong; a fixed eye level mirror in the bathroom, plus some towel rings near the sink would be useful; and maybe add some internal shutters on the windows to shut out the road noise. Appreciate you may not be able to upgrade the windows, but you need to do something as the road noise, or chatter from people in the street, is just too loud.

Location was excellent, staff very friendly. Stayed in the newly refurbished suite which had been done to a very high standard and was a beautiful room. Varied menu, plenty of drink options from the bar.
If I had to be picky it would have been good to have the use of a hairdryer as I'd forgotten mine but everything was so new that I'm sure those little extra's will appear over time. My fault - I should have read the details regarding room facilities.

It looks like a newly refurbished hotel, with wooden floor and clean bathroom, the views outside is peaceful and amazing. Good staff and probably the best food ( comments after I traveled over 10 villages’s bars )

Just recently refurbished the property is amazing. The design is excellent and the bed is so comfortable. Shower is big with excellent pressure. The landlord is excellent and super attentive.
