Just across the road from the station, it's also close to the city centre for food and entertainment. Breakfast was at 7.30 , earlier if you just wanted tea/coffee and cereal, Monday to Friday and 8.00am on weekend which was excellent. We had an internet connection but it could've been stronger. We were staying on a Friday and Saturday evening so a couple of party bookings meant loud music was playing till 11.30pm.

As mentioned above a bit of interference with internet and television. Loud music till about 11.45pm, but bearing in mind that its a working pub down the road from Wolves football club they do have to make a living during the close of the football season.

Staff were so lovely, very welcoming! Very helpful too. Lively bar, great atmospere. Room was very comfortable. Great sleep both nights. Tv reception wasn't the best but I wasn't using it much. Didn't try the WiFi so can't comment. Shower took a while to heat up but was fab when it did. Breakfast, well the poor girl was off sick the first morning then unfortunately the next day's replacement didn't turn up. The staff were amazing though and microwaved scrambled eggs on toast set me up both days fabulously. So close to the train stations, shops everywhere although I didn't get to indulge! Great location. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you Kings Head, I will be back!

Everything !! Excellent b&b and pub. All the staff where brilliant, excellent service, excellent location, excellent vibe, excellent breakfast. Staff helped me out and provided whatever we asked, thanks everyone. FREE PARKING across the road was a suprising bonus as booking.com states there is no parking. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in warrington 👌👌👌👌 SEE YOU NEXT TIME !!

No hairdryer in the room ( could have requested one ), but no info in the room ? No TV remote ? Cold shower ( ran the water for a long time but reported issue to staff whom I'm sure will get it sorted ) The window in room 2 won't stay closed Only minor issues that did not stop us from enjoying our stay

The hotel is of old ancient style. The room is not big but the bathroom is newly renovated. The location is good because the Warrington Central Station is opposite to the hotel. The breakfast was made after our order. The omelette was delicious. We could leave luggage there after check-out.

There was a pub downstairs and loud music was heard and did not stop until 11:45pm. There was no elevator.

Great place staff and location stayed here on a few occasions great value for money. Last time we stayed there was a problem with the shower and staff hadn't turned in to do breakfast,things happen and Covid was still very much out there and things fail. The manager was very obliging couldnt apologie enough and refunded some of the money which I didn't expect but was a very nice gesture. This didnt put us of and would definitely stay again. Hopefully in the summer as the set up outside is fabulous.

Nothing not to like really for a cheap and cheerfull night out with no taxis yo worry about

The first greeting was warm, friendly and that continued throughout my stay. Breakfast was lush amazing. It was so clean a very busy pub, lots of things going on. Outside had big screen to watch sports on. There was something for every one. The train station, to Wigan, liverpool for a night out was just across the road. Warrington is diverse in shops and choices of food. Also great rugby team and the ground is walkable from this pub. Cannot faultit really. And, although I was a solo traveller they made me feel really welcome. Would not hesitate to stay there again on my next visit. Thank you all at The Kings Head.

I couldnt get shower to get hot but tackled it in the end. I'll bring my own pillows as theirs were a little flat for me that that is just personal taste .

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was amazing and the women who made it was lovely. Location was soo good.

Shower pretty much didnt work. It took 5 mins for it to get hot then it does a short cycle of boiling hot and cold then turns off. If they could sort this issue the hotel would be perfect.

Lovely clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff and amazing full English freshly cooked breakfast to order, and all at a great price. Best pub to visit after watching the rugby, amazing atmosphere.

N/A, except plum tinned tomatoes with breakfast rather than chopped, but then that's just being really picky as breakfast was fantastic, freshly cooked and hot

The staff are really helpful, we had a problem with the TV in the room and it was sorted within 5 minutes. The bathroom is stunning. It has THE Best breakfast I have ever had!!

There was no hot water for to wash hands or have a shower. We had some problems with the people in the room next door being extremely noisy, banging doors, shouting etc but can't blame the hotel for that.
