Campanile Hotel Runcorn

Centrally located and good access via Motorway to major cities - Liverpool or Manchester. Ease of car parking and we also enjoyed the breakfasts. Also had a decent evening meal menu and at reasonable cost. Majority of Staff pleasant and helpful.

As I say the majority of Staff were really nice and even when things didn’t go right they were doing it with best of intentions. There was one younger woman though who seemed downright surly and let her colleagues down by her poor behaviour. It wasn’t as if anyone was being demanding or taxing her default reaction was to show that you were interrupting her reading her book or her daydreaming.

The bed was really comfortable. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast which was included was both continental style and a cooked breakfast that was prepared freshly for you not a help yourself type arrangement.

The pillows need replacing as they are lumpy and old and uncomfortable. The main door to the room had a safety chain removed and I wasn't sure if the lock worked on the door so had to put suitcase behind the door to feel safe.

Staff are always friendly and helpful when I stay. Always clean and comfy beds too good nights sleep always had.

The few issues I had where the amount of cigarette buts on the ground floor at the back, but I know they are working on this. As it is getting a makeover, Maybe have those little ashtrays on the walls, may help. Also, one of the lights in the room didn't work but managed, so it wasn't a major issue as such.

Grate location train station close to everything you need warm clean private rooms all you need for an overnight stay cheap grate Breakfast...quiet grate sleep comfortable beds hot water...loved it ...we had a nice short drive in the morning to chierokes outlet ..grate weekend. Would recommend it for value for money.

Could do with a tidy up on the outside to make it a lovely place.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and made you feel so welcome. Room was quiet and clean. Breakfast was amazing (full English, as well as toast, jam and great choice of coffee) and until 11 - just fab!! The location was the best you could have. Everything is quite close: you can walk into town, to the pub, to the theatre. The airport/car rental place is only 30 minutes, lots of other places are close as well: Flint Castle, Liverpool, Prestatyn in Wales and others.

Well, the hotel needs some refurbishment from the outside and the bathroom has seen better times but it was still alright altogether. The outside doesn't matter if everything else is as lovely as it was.

No air conditioning or fan when weather was hot I think that the company should consider getting it installed has we are having hotter summer these days or for customers to be able to rent fan from reception has room are small and hot for some people, 😀

My room was a nice size and clean and comfortable. The price was excellent value for money and the staff were very friendly and helpful.. The hotel is in a nice quiet location, but a few minutes walk from the town centre. I would highly recommend this hotel to any business traveler. Well done.

Absolutely nothing, all good.

Was just a place to stop over the 2 nights as was visiting family was ok for what we required it for ordered the breakfast the night before so had a discount as ordered the night before and that was nice to

Wasn't happy with the first room that was booked. Went and seen reception who moved us to another room

It was clean and tidy. Staff were really lovely and accommodating. Towels were all clean. Bed was clean and comfortable. Everything that we needed was provided and if not we knew we could ask. Staff are really understanding and helpful.

Pillows fell down back of bed. But other than that nothing really else was an issue. Main issue was just the pillows falling down a gap near headboard. Think I hit my head against it at one point cos I didn't know my pillows had fallen down. Oh the remote for the TV didn't seem to work for us when we turning it off or on.

Great location by the station but very quiet. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean room with a large comfy bed. Kettle and tea/coffee in the room. Freshly cooked breakfast.

The bathroom was a bit tired. The tiles needed regrouting and the fan kept me awake as it wouldn't stop. However these are small issues and I would definitely stay there again.
