Ramada by Wyndham Costa Mesa/Newport Beach

The staff was super courteous and considerate. The facilities were a bit outdated but very clean and comfortable. Parking was complimentary, and ordering room service for our meals was super easy and quick. We didn't get to use it even though we were told it was heated, but the pool area was a nice place to sit and have our coffee.

Like most Wyndham establishments I have stayed in CA, walls are super thin from every corner. Don't expect a quiet stay despite the hotel's best efforts to enforce quiet hours because people don't necessarily have to be loud to be heard. I feel this is where the hotel could benefit from offering ear plugs in every room.

The location was VERY close to the beach within minutes you arrive. The beds were super comfortable. I loved the fact that they have shampoo conditioner and body wash in the shower, and it wasn’t cheap it was Dove. The staff was very quick to bring extra towels and toiletries when we called. The COFFEE in the Sunset Grille is literally amazing and so smooth, you gotta try it. I would definitely stay here again. I didn’t take pictures but the ones you see sum it up.

They do not clean the room if you don’t stay longer than 3 days so the trash in our room piled up since there were four of us staying.

Very convenient location to Newport Beach. Great Staff. The mounted Shampoo, Soap and Conditioner in the shower is nice. But the Push mechanism to get the shampoo for people with small, medium and large hands is difficult to use. please replace the Push Mechanisms with a taller User Friendly version.

The TV Remotes are worthless. A TV remote WITHOUT a “GUIDE” button is useless. It appears some Executive or Finance guy replaced all the TV Remotes with $5.00 replacements. WITHOUT a GUIDE button they had to print a manual 1 page Guide and plasticize it. Worthless, Worthless, Worthless. R amada charges more than $100 per day and can’t buy and provide a proper TV remote?

It was very nice. I had a King Suite and we more than comfortable. Easy check in/out and the staff was friendly.

When you look at property policies on Booking, it says free public parking, on their website it says self parking. Not the case. We had two cars, my sister and I met there from different towns. When the front desk gave me a parking pass to put on my dashboard, I was told absolutely only one car. I certainly don’t know where that came from and not sure if they would tow my car, we had to find and pay for an overnight parking garage. It was a Tuesday night and when I looked at 7 am there were open spots. They also couldn’t give me any parking recommendations, up to us to deal with it. I could of arranged parking at a friend’s house if I had known in advance. Very deceitful.

If you're looking for an affordable place near the beach, this is a reasonable option. It's a couple minute drive from the peninsula, not terribly far from Huntington Beach, and nestled into a cute area of Costa Mesa. It's also about 30 minutes from Disneyland. Staff is friendly, and check-in/check-out was painless.

There was a slightly unpleasant smell initially of cleaning solution/dampness when we first entered the room, though running the heater reduced that a bit. Otherwise there was a bit of mold in the shower and various dents/scratches on the furniture. Nothing terribly upsetting, just a bit rough around the edges.

pretty clean and good value for your money. I really liked that there is an outdoor pool on the property!

the business centre is basically just a table in the lobby so I was unable to take business calls from there. also at the time the facility had Covid protocols which meant we had to request daily cleaning when we needed it. we stayed there for a week and the daily clean I was inconvenient for us because sometimes our request was forgotten and sometimes all the available cleaning slots were taken up. given the length of our stay it would have been nice to have more frequent cleaning.

Check-in was efficient. The room was spacious for 3 of us & the beds were comfortable. There's a fridge & coffee machine. Its a short walk to a general store which was handy. We didnt use the room service or breakfast option but it was handy to have as an option. It was a short drive to Newport.

The parking spaces are not numbered & out the front of our room was a few handicapped spots which meant we often werent able to park close to the room but it wasnt really a big deal, just tricky because it was raining a lot when we stayed

Inexpensive, convenient, clean/comfortable room, friendly staff - Marissa/Barbara in the Sunset Grille were great & helpful with recommendations on things to do in the area - there is so much to do nearby, we didnt spend much time in our room during the day and we all slept great at night. We used the pool & hot tub several times, kids always wanted to get back early enough to swim in evenings before pool closed at 9pm - shout out to Pedro who helped us when we forgot to get our laundry out of dryer by 9pm! Front desk staff were always positive & accommodating for extra towels, etc. We would definately stay here again!

The tiny coffee maker/no microwave in room - but we knew that going in and brought snacks that didnt need microwaving.

The room was clean, the staff very nice, & check-in went very well. The beds were also comfortable & the location was a great value for the money. We were very close to Huntington & Newport Beaches. It's also pet friendly, but there is a daily pet fee per pet.

I understand the pet fee, but I think it was too much. $50 per day per pet. We had 2 small dogs with us.

Quite comfortable bed and clean rooms. Lighting and air conditioning are very good. Beautiful desk in the room. Clean Bahtroom. Free Otopark

There should be an area for smokers in the garden of the hotel. It is necessary to throw cigarette butts in a box and this is important for the facility's fire prevention. I requested an invoice for my Company while making a reservation from the Booking app. The invoice was issued to me and has not changed.
