AC Hotel by Marriott Irvine

The pay for parking situation. Ended up paying twice for parking because did not know how to use the ticket number provided at front desk, even though prepaid for overnight parking when first checked in.

Clean, comfortable, nice room with nice city views. The staff were all great, super friendly and helpful!

Only valet parking is immediately outside of the building. The rest of the hotel parking is in a garage that’s shared with retail parking, which seems to be free, but the hotel charges guests $25 per night. If I’d seen the garage first (I temporarily parked out front while checking in) I would’ve skipped paying the hotel for parking and could have still parked my car in that same garage during my stay. The garage is a short walk from the hotel.

Front desk was very helpful, place was clean and modern. Beds comfy, room nice. Pool area was lovely, too bad we were there during a heat wave so not up to doing a lot.

The place was too techie. We use smartphones but prefer at least one piece of printed info. There was no printed info (I think that's the idea in this place) to help with in-room features. There was a scan code for the TV but that didn't work. We didn't know how to call the front desk, the WiFi was spotty, said connected but didn't work. Had to call Hotel Tech dept to get set up, which they did, but we were leaving soon by then. think it's a better place for younger, more techy people.

Nice hotel, clean, staff is super nice! Only thing was the road next to the hotel is super busy and loud! Other than that nice wood floors and pull out bed. Brought us up clean blankets and pillows. It was A nice stay!

Maybe a noise cancellation somehow with the busy road below. And the doors on the bathroom could be more private. Don’t live the sliding doors with no lock and you can hear everything lol Nothing that’s too big of a deal.

Great location, exceptionally clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Very nice pool area with plenty of shade for those who don’t want to be directly in the sun. Starbucks was walking distance. They gave us a late check out at no additional charge.

Construction on Sat morning woke us up earlier than we would’ve preferred. It’s the OC though, they’re building everywhere. Not the properties fault. No spa in the pool area but it was still very nice.

AC is the perfect place to stay in Irvine. The bed is comfy, the room is spacious, the gym is nicely equipped and there's a neat pool with an outside seating area. Everything you might need for a business stay.

I sent down a few t-shirts and underwear for laundry. About a pound altogether. Ended up paying $189 for the laundry. I would have been better off buying new ones.

The hotel is in a great location and perfect if you have your dog in tow. There are great areas to walk your dog and many good restaurants in walking distance too!

A small thing. If they had freezer areas in their fridges.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean modern room, on-site bar. Easy access to nearby restaurants and shopping. Gym and pool fully operational. Front-desk was able to accommodate early check-in.

Room had minor issue which popped up late at night, was offered room switch but was it already late night so just tolerated.

The staff are friendly and the location is good.

I am happy with the overall experience. I just had some comments if were not there I would have had a much better stay. For instance, I booked a one bedroom with a sofa bed. When I opened the sofa bed the sheets were dirty and seems that they were not changed after the previous guest I had to order new ones. There were no room service cleaning (they reception told me that this is due to the COVID regulations)

our room was on the third floor above the valet. we could hear a constant noise throughout the night like a light motor running and going off and on.
