Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Downtown Las Olas Area

Breakfast was ok for the price, location is good but thought it will be close to some amenities but unfortunately it is not, you need to take the car everywhere. Parking garage is a bit small but it's really close to the hotel. Rooms are pretty decent keeping in mind it is a 3 star hotel, so don't expect too much but it's very clean and beds are comfortable. AC was a bit noisy but since it was not too hot at that days, we turn it off and had a really good sleep :)

Pool is advertised but it is not really in good shape. Outside patio is cute but needs updated furniture. Hotel needs some good perfumes/humidifiers to make it smell more fresh. It has a bit of an odd smell but nothing serious.

The lobby, the guest rooms, the meeting rooms were beautifully designed & decorated. The beds were very comfortable . The coffee bar in the lobby that was available all day and into the evening was a very nice touch. The little grocery store would be very convenient.

The hallways on the room floors were worn & dingy. The cleaning staff did not vacuum them daily. The carpeting in the guest rooms had spills on the rugs as did the meeting room called Orange Blossom. The food in the bar from 5 to 10 is marginal. The little grocery store kiosk was running low on many items when I arrived on Wednesday evening, and it did not improve by the time I left Sunday afternoon.

We have chosen this location for the past couple of years as it is convenient to a local tennis club where we participate in an annual tournament in Ft. Lauderdale. So it is perfect for our needs. Our room was very comfortable. I had changed our reservation from a king suite to 2 queens (via booking.com) a few weeks before arrival, unfortunately the information never reached the property location. The hotel provided a rollaway for the first night and got us into a 2 queen suite the next day for the remainder of our stay. The breakfast was very nice. The options varied enough each day to provide fresh choices.

The one suggestion for change would be the restroom facilities located on the 2nd floor where the breakfast is held. The area seems to be a forgotten zone for cleaning & supplies. Obviously it is highly used given its proximity to the dining area, but there were no hand towels in the ladies room for any of the days we were there. Also there seemed to be no one around to dump the breakfast garbage as it piled up every day. This is not the fault of breakfast attendant; it seems to be an oversight for the custodial crew's schedule.

The staff was very nice and efficient check -in was fast the customer service was beyond amazing 🤩 I give the check agents 100. Helpful nice friendly just awesome my husband and I traveled from the Florida Keys to attend an event. I truly enjoyed my stay here I will definitely be booking in the future at Tru Hilton. 100% They nailed it !!! Cleanest safest facility thus far.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Absolutely Nothing it was perfect 10 on my list.

Location was great because it was central to great restaurants, some fast food places, Los Olas Blvd, Riverwalk, Water Taxi, etc. Convenient amenities ( laundry on site was FABULOUS for a travelling mom with her teenage son in tow☺️)

more attention to ’visible’ chlorinating of the pool and more ’updating’ of pool furniture—cushions were sometimed vidibly torn or dirty, bathrooms need better showers—-water power in the nozzle was very poor!

Breakfast, rooms and location was very good and suited my needs but the parking could be a little better, they even tried to charge me extra money even though I had already paid. The person at the front desk at the time was very rude and did not believe me until one of his co-workers told him I had already paid because he was the one that helped me and he did not even said he was sorry for calling me a liar, but other than that it was very good.

Breakfast was very good. Room very quiet. Central location very convenient from Las Olas Blv restaurants and central bus station. Staff very friendly .

Well the hotel area have big problem with the homeless but to be fair is not something exclusive of this particular area but the entire city.

Room was clean and quiet.

We went down to the pool that evening and there were no towels available in their towel area. The next morning, the towels that are by the pool were small hand towels or floor mat towels. Not a single regular towel. I also had to pay an additional $20 just to park at the hotel. Considering it was already $200 a night, parking lot should have been included!!!!

The hotel is nice and well managed. House keeping service could have been better. The staff was great and accommodating when we needed to change rooms. Or discuss the possibility of extending our stay do to the storm. My family and I would stay there again.

Carpeted floors in a damp atmosphere are trouble.

Good price, walkable to Las Olas, Rooms clean and nice, staff very friendly, really nice breakfast. Free ride back and forth to airport was great.

Porch by pool was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke all the time. Worse….. not hotels fault… to take a nice 1mile walk to get to Las Olas Blvd. we were accosted by several homeless mentally ill people. I feel bad for them all but we are elderly and walk with canes and it was scary and upsetting.
