was ok property,everything is low cost build in but in general ok clean.

part of the team had face down but rest of amazing! i felt bad for breakfast team with no one tipping them even breakfast is included (who carry cash now days?!!) the management needs to improve the way of food service to get their tip.also food example,cream chees(1 for 4 people?! not cool, we had to ask for at least one more. one of the food service had too serious face almost angry,same as one more who cleaned manual and carry tables chairs..was uncomfortable seeing that and seeing her madness.management needs to improve employees payments and quality training so travelers wont have ruined vacation while seeing these sad or upset faces

During my stay at The President, I stayed first in the main hotel then moved to the Villas. Both locations offered a clean room, comfortable beds with ample AC and an excellent location. I would like to point out that these rooms are CLEAN. I have asthma and was worried about certain smells that can trigger me. I was very impressed that the rooms smelled great, (no perfumed air fresheners) and are clean. The rooms in the main hotel are less updated with a smaller bathroom while the Villas are more updated and have a balcony ( which I didn't use because it was hot and nothing dries in the humidity anyway.) The hotel offered a daily breakfast which was wonderful and had a lot of choices. The hotel also offered access to a pool, beach towels and bottled water. As for the location, it is one block from Ocean Drive and quite frankly that was the best place to be. Ocean Drive, though fun and lively, can get pretty loud. It was nice to be close to the action but not on top of it. Also, this hotel is very close to great restaurants, a drug store ( in case you forget suntan lotion or want to buy some snacks) and walking distance ( 3 min. ) to the beach. As for getting around the area, it is an easy place to walk around. I also rented bikes ( rentals available on nearly every block and purchased with a credit card ) or used Uber ( I never had a response longer than 3 minutes to an Uber request. There are a lot of drivers in that area.) I also want to add that a great hotel is one that offers great customer service and Henry at the front desk did that. He wanted to make sure out stay was perfect and offered ideas for dining, excursions and went out of his way to make us comfortable. I appreciated that very much!

Things I thought could be improved- the main hotel rooms could have bigger bathrooms. There also wasn't enough furniture to put things on-, just a small desk and a desk chair. There is a closet but I didn't find it useful. In the Villas, my biggest concern was the entrance to the Villas. I would have preferred there be an entrance connected to the main hotel so that you don't have to walk outside. I found walking in the courtyard and getting to the Villas entrance was a bit sketchy. Though I did not have any problems, I didn't like that the elevator opened near the entrance to the street/ alley way.

Location was excellent, a few minutes walk to the beach but a block away from the busy Miami Beach boardwalk so it was relatively quiet. Didn't have a chance to go see the rooftop pool though as we didn't have time (we were sad about that!). Room was basic but clean enough (too much white - need more color). Big flat screen tv on wall facing the bed. Lighting was good, extra chair and side table for reading/relaxing. Big desk with chair to use for work station, etc. Big closet. Breakfast was good (decent amount of variety and choices especially for my niece that is a vegetarian). The front desk reception was very nice, helpful, and patient. Easy to get to other building where we were assigned a room.

The bathroom had some water damage on bottom right corner of wall (guess due to water splashing there and it is gyprock). Body towels were way too small. Bathroom fan didn't work very well. Found fake eyelashes on the top of the in-room safety deposit box (which didn't work - I tried many times to swipe my M/C to lock it and it wouldn't allow me to slide it properly therefore it would not lock). Didn't know there was an outside area to eat breakfast (so we ended up waiting for a table to be free in the main dining room area).

We liked that there were two large double beds rather than a sofa bed as the second bed option for our children. Lovely to have bottled water in our room every day. The pool was great, even gave towels for round the pool and when we went to the beach. Breakfast was good, could of replenished it quicker. All round great stay and would stay again. Location was perfect for the beach and restaurants and shopping.

The balcony view wasn’t great but you can’t have everything and it didn’t stop us enjoying our stay. Also, other guests were smoking all sorts on their balconies and the room stunk when we opened the balcony. Because we traveled with children it wasn’t something I wanted to come across.

The President Hotel may not be located directly on the beach, but guests can easily reach it as it's just around the corner. The hotel features a serene saltwater pool on the rooftop, which offers a scenic view of the sky. The staff, particularly Henry at the front desk, were accommodating and hospitable. Moreover, the breakfast served in the morning was scrumptious, with a wide range of options available.

I have a minor issue regarding the fragrance used in the hotel lobby and rooms. It is quite unpleasant and causes nausea. I suggest opting for a more subtle fragrance instead.

The breakfast was very good and complete. The staff was great! I really liked that I was able to use the public bus to go to the airport for $2.25!!! My room was small but good enough for me (one person). The room was clean and comfortable (no cigarrete or other strange smells). The location of the hotel is perfect (very close to the beach, restaurants and Lummus Park!!!). I will try very hard to go back as soon as possible and stay there again!!!

I did not have a view outside of my room. This was not an issue but it would be great if somehow the room had a view to the ocean or the street(?). Also, just a little cheaper would help on my decision to go back!!!

Location was amazing! Super close to the beach. My friends and I always stay here when were in Miami as it's a cute, boutique hotel that meets all our needs and the price was great! Staff are always super friendly and the welcome drinks are a nice touch.

Rooftop pool is nothing crazy and a little small, also usually busy. Water kind of sprayed out of the tap in the bathroom, but was manageable. Wish the bathroom was a little bit bigger for 3 girls in 1 room. Rooms aren't that spacious, but worked for us since we don't spend much time in the rooms anyways.

The staff were exceptional. I received a complimentary upgrade because they were extremely busy on check in and they gave me a upgrade room in a separate building which was much quieter. Breakfast was simple but good. And staff are always welcoming. The room was spacious clean and bright.

I didn't really venture out. Didn't feel overly inclined to do so. Delivery services were adequate. Some obviously better than others. The night life is active, very active. It's an area that doesn't seem to sleep ... little drug activity, but nothing over the top. I would definitely return to the area again.

The property is in a great location. Right next to the beach and service is great. Also it’s next to ocean drive so all the touristy restaurants are near by and it’s very vibrant. Room was very clean and spacious. WiFi was nice and strong so you could use the internet. Breakfast was good enough, waffle/toast, sausage, eggs, skillet potatoes , yogurt, cereal and apple/orange. They serve it to you so you should ask for more or less if you need. Didn’t see anybody go up for seconds but I think they would have if it wasn’t served to you. If you need any supplies, Walgreens is right next to the corner across the street.

No parking anywhere so they have a valet service for $45 a night that is just more convenient to do. Also there is a $30 resort fee that I didn’t see in the description when reserving this place. While the room was spacious, the bathroom was tiny and had no fan and couldn’t open the window so if you are going #2, make sure the keep the door closed. In the morning, it was quite noisy because of the dumpster pickup right outside our window too.
