Shepley South Beach Hotel

This little hotel has a fun vibe and chic decor. It felt beachy and swanky at the same time, which is perfect for its ideal location just one block from The white sands of South Beach. The snug little rooms felt bigger with the old hardwood floors. Loved how light and bright the room was - hotel rooms are often so poorly lit. Beds were comfortable and the linens were a high-end quality. Appreciated that they provide beach towels for you to use. The public parking garage right across the street was super convenient. We parked our car and never moved it. Enjoyed a picnic lunch on the comfortably furnished, covered entryway.

Okay, if I’ve heard it once, I’ve heard it a hundred times - “We can’t provide the complimentary breakfast that we used to because of Covid.” Really?? How about serving a complimentary pastry or a grab and go breakfast? Plenty of places are finding creative work-arounds. Better not to mention that there ever was a complimentary breakfast if you are not going to provide it and make sure the room rate reflects that.

Very Good Location! Center of South Beach, walking distance from some of the best shopping malls - Lincoln Road, The Webster, very close to Espanola Way as well and of course Ocean Drive and Beach. Staffs were very nice and very friendly, all of them were capable to communicate in English and Spanish.

Shower was not so nice in my room the water pressure was too low, its a little bit annoying. The Breakfast could have more variety or options specially thinking in those for long stays, and could consider Egg as an option.

The location is great - close to several restaurants and shops, and the beach is less than a 5 minute walk away. The hotel provides beach towels and chairs, which is a wonderful perk. We spent a lot of time on the hotel’s fantastic patio playing cards and having drinks while watching the craziness that is Collins Avenue! Although the hotel is on a busy street, the room was very quiet, and we were able to get good sleep. Throughout our stay the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Love this place!

I LOVED everything about this hotel! From the location, the moment I was greeted at the door, to the ease of checkin and my bags being carried to my room. The room is absolutely beautiful, very clean with stunning linens and an immaculate bathroom. The included continental breakfast was wonderful and the best I've ever come across yet. Their staff will assist you in serving and will make you an espresso if you'd like or pour you a coffee Check out was smooth and easy. I can't say enough positive things about the entire staff. I will be returning!

Can't think of 1 thing. Well, maybe just that a full-length mirror in the room would be icing on the cake.

I liked the providing of towels, beach chairs and breakfast. I appreciated one of the desk agents printing something for me. Loved the location to the beach and that they provided free luggage storage. There were a few requests that I made, and they were attended to in a timely manner.

I didn't like that there was no business center. Also, for some reason, the elevator was not encouraged for use. Was told that it was mainly a service elevator and that it sometimes gets stuck. Small room with no chair or table.

Location is great, near to beach, restaurants etc. Staff was nice. Room & bathroom were spacious.

Our room ("suite") was facing towards a parking lot, so we couldn't keep our curtains open at all during the whole week we stayed. Air condition kept HORRIBLE noice, but we managed to get some sleep with ear plugs. The breakfast was kinda poor since they don't have kitchen of their own.

Second time staying here. super convenient south beach location , can walk everywhere. great breakfast, friendly staff. Clean and quiet. Good value for location and breakfast included.

no parking close by. there is parking very close but not realistic since it’s always full. the parking structure on 16th street is not too far but quite inconvenient to have to walk 10-15min to get to the car.

Location, location, just off South Beach and 5 minute walk to Espanola Way and 10 minutes to Lincoln Mall. This was a great place to stay for a couple of days to explore Miami before we headed off on cruise. The pictures on website is exactly as it looks and the breakfast was adequate to set you up for the day. I would definately recommend for anyone looking for a base in Miami. I had a room at front of hotel and it was amazingly very quiet, but the beds were so comfy, I slept like a log. Room were cleaned daily and fresh towels left, what more can you ask for.

Absolutely nothing.

Perfect location, near to beaches and most recognisable Miami art deco district. Great interior design. Hotel was really clean (hall, kitchen, reception). Nice and helpful stuff!

Room very small for 4 people. No place to dry wet clothes, plus no shower gel provided, only shampoo and conditioner under shower). Room wasn’t cleaned once during couple of hours when we were out. Unfortunately not enough space to eat breakfast comfortable. Food offer average and repetitive, but as European I have high expectations to have for instance more veggies and some other vegetarian options, other than cheese.

great location: middle of art deco district, beach was indeed 5 min walk, great place to walk around and explore, no car needed. Public transport: PLENTY ! wish it was like this in more places in the USA. Bonus was the nearby covid test center = 10 min walk. Needed test for our travel. Hotel was lovely and cosy, with nice and comfy seating area in the lobby and outside on the porch. Rooms were not very big, which suited us and it was cosy. Good beds with plenty of pillows Spacy bathroom and fac.. just great. Something else as being a fan of haunted mansions, harry potter magic: standing in the lobby just take a look into the long hallway with all these doors and lights and let your imagination run wild. I loved what I saw. Staf: friendly and helpful,. They all were just great. We enjoyed our stay very much and wished we had more days to enjoy,, it was easy and relaxed. Good place to return to: Warmly Recommended!!
