location was amazing, right on ocean drive! walk everywhere- rooms are sound proof so when it’s time to rest you can even when busy Miami is still awake.

it was not as clean as I would like for the money I paid and let’s add the extra $150 for parking

The room and location is perfect for experiencing south beach

The room has a great shower but the door does not keep the water sealed in, my girlfriend took a ten min shower and by the time she got out water had spread all over the bathroom floor. And the hot tub needs to have its jets fixed

Love the location and the apartment style room offers everything you would need including dishes. Love having 2 separate sink areas in the bathroom so multiple people can get ready simultaneously.

Rooftop deck needs a new sun shade, One of the glass privacy doors in toilet area needs replacing. Couldn't get one of the TVs to work, so couldn't watch from bed. Air conditioning is super loud, but so thankful it was working!

The check in process the front desk doesn’t help you at all if you didn’t book with them. You have to wait til someone comes down to lobby to get to room because front desk will not open elevator for you cause you booked with private party

We booked the room pool deck walk out which was awesome for my daughter. I could run back and forth to the room and felt comfortable leaving her to swim. The pool is saltwater as well as the hot tub (would have been nice to have jets in the hot tub but it was fine without too.) The location is awesome!!!

There were a few little quarks like the toilet squealed when it flushed, we couldnt find a switch for a light so we just had to unscrew the light bulb, the elevator key was a little annoying but it was easy to hitch a ride or we asked the front desk staff for the hotel.

SBV rents out rooms in the Z Ocean Hotel. They have a contactless check-in system. To facilitate it, have all of your documents completed at least the day before and pay the refundable $250 security deposit which is a hold placed on your card. To get to your room the first time you will need to tailgate another guest in the elevator. You will be provided a code to enter the room. Inside the room is the elevator key, which you must not lose. We had limited interaction with SBV after our check-in, but they responded quickly to our messages. We enjoyed our stay, the room was comfortable, we had a Jacuzzi on the 2nd floor (the ones on the roof do not have jets), and did not mind that there was no housekeeping service (we got to sleep in late). We enjoyed the 2nd floor pool and Jacuzzi and the excellent restaurants in the area.

It would have been easier if SBV was clear about getting into the elevator upon arrival before check in, and noting that the front desk and some amenities like the gym are only for hotel guests. The rooms are exactly the same for the hotel and SBV, so you can book either way. One drawback was that the guests of the hotel were younger and in a party mode, often with loud music and multiple guests during the pandemic, but during our week stay it was just a couple of nights. The property is a bit shop-worn, but our room was clean and the property is well maintained.

Didn’t get breakfast laction was great

Only one jet worked out of 15 in our hot tub . The electrical socket didn’t work next to the bed an I had to plug phone in bathroom ..

The pool, the tub, the location

Could’ve done better with getting ahold of somebody for things necessary like more towels etc. even tho they did provide quite a lot of towels. But after all I did stay about 5 days.

The hot tub jets didn't work. And the bedroom should be more private.

The location. The shower was nice. The bed was comfortable . The terrace was beautiful.
