Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Orlando - Lake Nona Area, an IHG Hotel

A good, clean, and conveniently located hotel (near USTA National Campus) where I paid $125/night (not bad since that’s with Orlando taxes and fees). Other reviewers said the breakfast was only continental, but they had eggs and protein (rotated between links, patties, and sausage gravy) when I stayed there in December 2022. My flight came in at midnight but the night clerk was able to check me in without issue (note: there is a buzzer at the front desk if they aren’t right there).

Parking was very full (which was good for occupancy for them but a pain for guests). Also I didn’t know that they allowed animals (perhaps they don’t) but one guest had a barking dog. Fortunately that room wasn’t close to mine.

The location was perfect. Literally walking distance from stores, restaurants, etc.

The parking is terrible. My wife and I came back to our room around 1am and all the parking spaces where gone. People parked under the over hang, on curbs, etc. There is a gated community right behind the hotel so you can’t parks there. Nothing directly beside the hotel. I wedge between two cars in a line under the overhang. Also, they forgot to give us the access code for Wi-Fi and our room wasn’t available when we arrived.

Very clean, great breakfast, and staff is very friendly and accommodating.

There’s a lot of lights in the room - the hallway lights are very bright - could these be dimmed at night? Also, the lights from the TV, alarm clock (this is dimmable, but still bright) and lights from street make it difficult to sleep (if that type thing bothers you). It’s not a deal breaker, but would make it a perfect setting for restful sleep of these things were fixed.

Breakfast was as advertised, with a hot entree daily and plenty of alternatives. These tend to be standard amenities, however, but everything was clean, and coffee hot! Room was cleaned daily, and everything worked well. Tended to use the chaise lounge, so thank you for including one!

Pool could have been made more inviting. Though the water looked inviting, the lack of greenery, etc did not continue that look.

had reservations to stay when we did but was comming a week earlier and and staying at Clearwater beach but airline cancelled beacause of the hurricane so we cancelled hotel but at the last minute we decided to come down and stay at your hotel but the rate changed by 50.00 more per night I guess because contractors were staying there doing hurricane damage repairs

The customer service was excellent. One of the engineer staff was so kind to jump our car battery for us!

I feel like our room rates were much higher than I originally saw on Booking.com. I felt like I chose the hotel for a more reasonable price since it was further away from Orlando, but I have no way to prove it.... I remember the reservation was set up such that the card would not be charged until we got there...big mistake! I will most likely not use Booking.com again for this reason... but the hotel accommodations and staff were excellent!!!

Is goood but We didn't like one thing about breakfast, it's our second time and we realized that the pancake machine is no longer there than the last time we liked it. there was not much variety to eat The elevation allway smell like dog

The Breakfast was a little less than what I expected, but it was sufficient. I appreciated the environment. it was comfortable, the bed was really soft the way that I like it. I used the lobby tables for some computer work on my laptop, it was really conducive to helping me get my work done.

The Breakfast was sufficient but nothing special. I would have appreciated some biscuits and grave, pancakes ready made, some pastries that were not packaged.

I only stayed for one night, but the location was great, with many nearby places to get food. I even went for a jog near the facilities. The breakfast was good, and everything looked fresh. The personnel was accommodating and attentive.

The laundry was not working, so I couldn't get my workout clothes cleaned. Only two were working out of the 3-4 treadmills in the gym area.

The hotel was beautiful, great decore ..we got room 101 first floor next to the exit which was great .. however, around six am the room started to smell like bacon it was very uncomfortable and a bit gross especially because I am a vegetarian and dislike waking up to that smell.. the whole first floor smelled like grease..maybe they need to do something with the kitchen ventilation system. Next time I will ask for a room in a higher floor..
