Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando North Maitland

Love the separation of bedroom from living room and the full fridge/ stove in kitchenette. Staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was great, had eggs, meat, waffle maker, fresh fruit, bagels, coffee, tea, and juice. 24 hr front desk staff was a plus. We arrived in middle of night and stayed 2 weeks. When leaving we checked out late and there was no extra charge. I will definitely stay here again.

Full housekeeping is only once a week but housekeeping staff came by everyday with fresh towels, toilet paper, soaps, and to empty the trash. Pool was small but adequate. It's a bit far from attractions: 20-30 min to Disney World, Sea World, or Universal parks.

Parking was convenient. I wish I could remember the name of the front desk clerk. He was there each time we came in and out and had the best attitude! Always smiling, conversant, and gracious. He definitely stood out and gave us a great impression of the property from the moment we checked in.

Only 2 negatives. 1. The living room. When couch is pulled don’t you have to squeeze between the corner and counter to try to walk, or just crawl over corner of bed. Having the large stool for the chair and the coffee take and the second desk chair was just too much furniture to fit once the couch was pulled out. 2. Breakfast. It was ok. The food from the 2 chafing dishes was not really warm either day. Also, we are used to having multiple juice options (nothing fancy, just something like a Minute Maid machine with apple, orange, grapefruit, fruit punch) and a bigger pastry assortment (again, nothing fancy… just more options like muffins, donuts, etc.).

The 2 bedroom suite was spacious and clean. The kids had enough space to not be on top of each other all the time like in standard rooms. Kids loved having to bathrooms. Kitchenette was good enough to make simple meals. Breakfast was good. Plenty of options for picky eaters. Applebee's was at the end of the hotel parking lot.

What I did not like was the ants. They were everywhere and I mean everywhere. We could not put food on the counter or even eat at the table it was so many. We had to put our toothbrushes in a zip lock bag to keep the ants off it. They need to do something about the ants and the lace would get a 10 rating. The hotel was nice it really was.

Breakfast was good with some variety of choice and the availability of the microwave oven really helps! Would recommend. Would suggest muffins or danish be added.

Get rid of the Appleby’s next door!! The food and service are atrocious and they are associated with the hotel. We talked to several people who went there because it was next door and they were astounded at how bad it was.

We needed to be in Maitland/Winter Park so location for good for us. It's right off I-4 and about 25 minutes from theme parks. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Staff was friendly and room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Gas station and 7-Eleven across the street was an added plus.

French toast sticks were really bad. Due to the layout of the building, our room was rather a trek to the lobby. Room was quiet though and had a nice view.

room was great, as in the past. It's a bit uncomfortable trying to keep away from people when getting food ...very close quarters. Though I appreciate having the food, as you might be aware, in these times, it's almost unheard of to see a buffet. Buffets have been replaced with either not having one, or someone on staff standing behind each food area, and serving to each person. I don't think wearing masks means you don't have to keep a distance. Perhaps, only allowing one person at a time to come up to get their food. Also, not sure, but I don't think that there were any plastic guards partially over each food, so that when people look at an item, they are not breathing, etc.. directly over/near the food.

More enforcement over people wearing masks. People were getting on to elevators not wearing masks, or coming out of elevators not wearing masks. I had suggested to one of your staff, that in addition to the paper (s) that one has to sign when checking in, that a paper be created stating that the hotel has a policy that one must wear their mask in all areas except for their own hotel room and the dining area, when eating. If in the dining area and not eating, that a mask should be worn. It could state that if this policy is violated, that they would be warned, and if it continues that they would be asked to leave, with no refund for nights lost - and have them sign it, with prior explanation by hotel staff.

Rooms were very spacious. Basically an apartment. . Very clean. Plenty of linens for the bed and sofa bed. Also it was very quiet. Very good toiletries in the bathroom. And it was very clean.

Breakfast was very good, but there were no yogurts. And maybe besides the orange juice some other juice would have been great.

Was totally surprised when we walked into the room. The kitchen livingroom area was huge than you see double doors leading into the bedroom bathroom area which was bigger than the kitchen area. Beds were comfortable. Great price for a large suite and a full breakfast.

The bathroom wasn't as clean as I had expected since we are still experiencing covid. The cleaners need to look behind the bathroom door.

Excellent Local, Excellent Breakfast.

We did not like the way of cleaning the room, it must be done by the tenant. If you need towels you take them out and they give you clean ones.
