Comfort Suites Downtown

Breakfast was really good. More choices than I expected. Everything was really clean.

I reserved a room for handicapped person and was suppose to have a roll-in shower or a shower without a tub. I got what looked like a room for a disabled person but there was a tub that you had to step over and into to take a shower. My partner was unable to shower as he cannot lift his leg up and over to get into the shower. Since we were only staying one night we just put up with it. I was not happy as I paid extra for that room but I'll be sure to call the next time to make sure the room is what I need.

I liked the breakfast, actually; they had a good variety. out of most items by 9am though (it’s from 630-930). could make red velvet waffles. yum. anyway the wifi was out and they were very nice about it, the rooms are super spacious & the hot water lasts awhile.

the floor we were on (top floor) smelled like weed. other floors didn’t seem to have that issue. first night was cigarettes and weed from room below us, but then the whole floor smelled like it the remainder of stay. just to note when traveling w kids, to perhaps stay on 1st or 2nd floor.

The purpose of our trip was to visit a family member at the Women's Hospital. The hotel is an easy walk to the AdventHealth Cancer Center, Women's Hospital, and Children's Hospital.

Due to the fact that I booked our reservation through Booking.com instead of through the hotel's site, I was unable to change our departure date even though I knew the change was necessary prior to our arrival. (Booking.com had me message the hotel; no one responded. When I requested to change the departure date when I checked in, I was told I'd have to go through Booking.com.) AdventHealth also provides a voucher (available when you get your visitor badge) which allows you to get your room for $99 per night. Once again, I was not allowed to get the reduced rate because I had booked through a third party.

I like the room and view I had from it. The breakfast was what I expected but nevertheless good. The room was clean and very well kept. The fact that a panera and 711 was within walking distance was very convenient as well.

Locating the elevator was a little bit of a pain at first when I got there, so I took the stairs. So to improve I’d say possibly better signage of where to locate certain facilities, but other than that I was fine.

we used this hotel as a “bridal suite” last weekend. the whole 9 yards! we did hair and make up for 7 girls. Carmen helped us with a later check out so we would be able to get everything done before the wedding! both workers were very nice and accommodating. we had our bouquet delivered to the hotel before we got there and josh was so helpful to hold them for us before we arrived.

Breakfast has been great selection. The people are nice. A couple times things ran out and let staff know and they filled it up. I was told about the special rate for a relative in hospital. I am here from Canada helping my uncle who broke his hip. Staying for 2 weeks adds up quickly so really appreciate the discount. Thank you!

I think that the breakfast offering was good, but they need to have an employee present during the breakfast to be sure that everything was in order. Both days that I stayed someone spilled liquids and no one took care of it.

Even tough it was advertised in the booking, the hotel did not have a fitness center.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We were impressed with the cleanliness and great condition of everything in the hotel. We stayed at many hotels in various states on a long road trip and this was by far the best one for our price range. The front desk staff was attentive and friendly. My husband especially liked the large TV! The location near the hospital complex was nice because it was quiet and not overly congested with traffic.

The only slight complaint is the limited breakfast, but that's understandable. We also had a 2AM fire alarm evacuation one night, but we were back in within 30 minutes. They believe someone was smoking in the elevator, so I hope they were identified and fined for everyone's inconvenience.

Included breakfast is a joke. You either got down there real early or you didn't get anything. Even when we went down at 9:00 they were out of stuff a lot of stuff. No eggs no bacon no waffles. And the breakfast only runs 6:30 to 9:30 which is ridiculous. Cannot check into 4 and have to check out by noon it's also ridiculous.
