Hampton Inn Madison

The location was convenient. The hotel check-in lady was very helpful and recommended dining options. We tried one of her recommendations and it was good. The hotel smelled and looked clean which is always important to us. The breakfast was better than the typical hotel breakfast. The egg omelettes were actually tasty. The lady attending the breakfast was very helpful and even brought us a bottled water. She had a smile on her face and was a pleasant employee.

Great daily breakfast. Centrally located so we were able to make daily excursions.

I did not know we had to ask for daily housekeeping. I went up two days to request clean towels and to have the trash emptied on the second day. When I was checking out I was told I should have requested daily housekeeping on my arrival.

We were there for only one night since we were attending a high school reunion. The front desk person was very friendly and we talked about going to Morgan County High School. The location was good for going to and from the reunion.

I recall in the past that Hampton Inn had a more elaborate hot breakfast, but maybe that changed due to Covid-19. The omelette and sausage were okay. The bed was not very comfortable to me, but I was revved up after attending the reunion. Plus, my husband went to sleep before I did, and he did not pull down the actual sheet. I thought it was odd that the sheet was attached to the quilt, but that was his mistake. It made it tough to stay comfortable.

We were there for 7 days the maid service was terrible even when your signed up for room service you must be gone from the room for at least 5 hours before you get get your room serviced I had to keep my 80 year old uncle out longer every day mainly because the maids serviced the rooms that were empty first we were very dissatisfied with room service

Lobby seemed a bit dark, but that may have been because I was so tired when I arrived and my eyes were half closed. Also can the elevator location be clearly marked when leaving your room. It was hard to distinguish where the elevator was when looking down the hallway.

Very nice comfortable bed. Due to a medical condition my wife cannot lie flat in a bed she has to sleep at 45 degrees. She was happy to see the chase lounge in the room. Breakfast area was nice and the attendant was very helpful.

Everyone great except the girl who did check out. The lady who checked us in and the lady who fixed breakfast were exceptional.

The location of the hotel was just off the interstate. Check in was fast and efficient. The bed was comfortable.

Connecting to the internet was a problem.

We were allowed to check in early. The staff was nice and attentive to me.

The shower head was adjustable but I couldn't get it to. The tub is small.

ac thermostat was not working off wall thermostat. refr refrigerator had an intermittent noisy buzz which i v. repirtted but nothung fobe by staff
