Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Athens, GA

We were in town for a family reunion. We did not eat breakfast however, we were told by other members of our family that it was very nice. The location was great we were able to get to various places with ease.

When we checked into our room immediately we could see that it was not cleaned proper. I notified the front desk of the problems and right away Ms Judy apologized for the inconvenience and said we'll moved you to another room. Within five minutes she moved us into a different room and upgraded it , she made a bad situation Right. The manner in which she Handled this situation is why we gave a ten rating, we had a very pleasant stay.

The breakfast was wonderful even if I did have to make our own waffles, lol. No, but for real , breakfast was great and my children loved it, even my waffles. They have been asking to go back and the room again so we can have waffles, lol. Soooo, we’re getting a waffle maker.

I didn’t like the fact that there air conditioner did not have a knob to turn it up, down, or even off for that matter. However, if it did get too cold in the room, we would just unplug it. Other than that, everything was great

The staff was a great. The rooms clean and comfortable. And the complimentary breakfast was a definite plus

The only thing I did not like is the fact that the price of the room was 4 times the normal rate simply because it was a graduation weekend at the University of Georgia. I have stated this facility multiple times and the room rate was around $120 to $140. Since this was graduation week at the University of Georgia it was over $800 for 2 nights. Price gouging such as this should be illegal.

Great location

Someone was allowed to smoke and our whole hall smelled VERY bad. I have asthma and triggered it. I also asked to change my pillows/bedding because I am allergic to feathers/down. There were no feather free bedding supplies available so I was up half the night.

Bedding was very comfortable! A/C works great, especially being that GA hot air is a different type of hot air. Bathroom was very clean, the sink stopper in my bathroom stopped working but the staff was very prompt in correcting the issue. I would definitely stay here again if back in the area. It's also really close to alot of places to eat at, so you don't have to travel really far to get food.

The carpet in my room had a lot of stains in it. Definitely needs a good shampooing or deep carpet cleaning done. The floor itself was vacuumed & clean of debris. The microwave was a little weird; the inside, where the plate is located, kept moving without entering a start or end time, so I left it unplugged for the most part. Especially being that after I reheated my food one evening, it was still running on its own so I unplugged it.

the room had a outstanding rate, the was a suite, large twin beds, and a pullout ,with large TV in each room, great bar & grill in walking distance, just a real fun time, staff were helpful, good food, workout area, great people

GPS can take you around, but worth the short delay

The hotel is very nice, staff was great, and they have free Otis Spunkmyer cookies at the front entrance. The complimentary blast was good too....

The parking. Only one spot per room. Wet had 4 cars because We had people meeting from different areas to come in town for the Bulldogs game

The location was convenient, and the desk attendant was excellent. She made me feel welcome and calm.

The toilet handle was broken. I had to manually flush the toilet by lifting the inside handle/plug. There was a sock left in the bathroom from the previous guest under the sink. The price was high for one night stay.

Location was perfect. The hotel staff bent over backwards to take care of us and made us feel like family. The breakfast was okay. Everyone was very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

The only issue was homeless people in the area

Surprisingly large suite with separate sitting room with couch, chair, desk and TV. Very nice to have extra space.

Breakfast was a little limited, but what hot food that was offered was good. Parking was also limited at night.
