Holiday Inn Cincinnati-Riverfront, an IHG Hotel

The condition of the room was terrific and the TV station choices were great too. The staff was friendly and courteous.

The breakfast was adequate for the price paid but could have been better with more selections i.e. waffles/pancakes, sausage gravy and biscuits and sweet rolls/donuts. I didn't see those choices. There was a restaurant on the premises which would have made making a better breakfast an easy task for this hotel. In the future we will not opt for the breakfast on site and go elsewhere. The toilet paper was atrocious. A Holiday Inn can do much better. The 6:30 a.m. wake-up call that we DID NOT ask for was ridiculous too. We were vacationing not working!

The perfect location for events in Cincinnati. We stayed for the Taylor Swift concert and it was super busy, but the staff was polite and communicated very well about time frames and waits for checking in. There is a shuttle for $1 that drops you off near the stadium that was so helpful. We walked back and was less than 25 minutes away. Great location to park easily, avoid traffic, and have food options all nearby.

upon checkin we were not advised that we needed a parking pass to park in thier own lot. My car could have been towed away except we went down to front desk and another person was thier and advised us of that and gave us a permit to put on our car. She also gave us 2 passes for free breakfast, otherwise we would have had to pay.

Day time staff was not friendly. Restaurant was really small, short hours, very few options for food Pop machine out of order 3 days, ice machine put out crush ice that melted in minutes. No In house phone in room or TV guide. No microwave

Friendliness if front desk personnel.

Old carpet in hallways. Musty and worn a bit. Very dated. Should go to laminated or change to new carpet. The charges for my stay showed up In my checking account at 1:40 am before we checked in. I paid for breakfast for two both days and did not use them. Refund not available.

There is ample parking. It is close to the airport. My room was clean and comfortable for a one night stay. They had a list of nearby restaurants which is great if you have a car.

Breakfast was not ready by 6 AM and I had an early flight so I left. There is only one elevator so it can be a wait if people are checking in and moving luggage carts.

Staff was great.

Bar wasn’t open very late. Did not like that we couldn’t swim. Not good. If it was rented by a party then the guests needed to know that beforehand. Not happy. Also, had three rooms and one was supposed to have 2 queen beds-did not. Unhappy

Very clean and staff was very helpful whenever we needed it.

The location was not great but I will go there again. Having helpful staff and being clean is a great combination which makes up for what was a minor issue with the location when it came to our planned activities.

Air didn't work well. Need room darkening curtains, we couldn't pull them shut to keep the lights from the river shining in all night. None of the vending machines had anything in them.

Hotel staff was extremely helpful and polite. Great location off I 75. Property and room were clean and comfortable.

Heavy cigarette/ cigar smoke smell in room and hallways. We had to switch to a different room because of the heavy cigarette/ cigar smoke smell.
