The Cincinnatian Curio Collection by Hilton

The room was clean with no “hotel smell”. The room was a little small but that’s expected for an older downtown hotel. It appeared to be nicely and somewhat recently remodeled and that was nice. It was close to just about anything you’d want to do downtown.

There was an electric fireplace in the room but it wasn’t functional. We didn’t need it but it would have been nice. There still seemed to be a little repair work going on on the eighth floor, which was where we stayed but it didn’t interfere with our stay.

Location! Within walking distance of Great American Ballpark. If you were there to spend time at the hotel, it had a nostalgic feel, beautiful, lots of history, I am sure. The rooms were very nice, very clean, and up to date.

There is not a specific parking garage attached to the hotel. This could have been disclosed up front. Especially since valet parking was $42. And, the hotel entrance was hard to find. I was not there for the hotel. I slept there for a few hours, and used the bathroom to clean up and go home.

Mostly everything. We only stayed for one night but it was a very nice hotel. Would could back for sure. Bed was comfortable, staff were nice and very helpful and restroom was nice.

Cable on the tv is dated. Smart tv would have been nice. That is the only thing I did not like and even this did not bother me all that much.

My friend and I stayed here to attend the Taylor Swift concert and our entire experience was wonderful. I don't know what all the staff had to deal with handling that many people, but they were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. The hotel and coffee shop staff exceeded our expectations.

We found the stay to be a very good value and was convenient to the waterfront activities.

We understand the current issues with having adequate staffing in all areas. So, the valet service, which I believe is separate from the hotel, was poor. There was only one young man working his tail off, which led to a wait of over an hour to get our car (on a Saturday morning). In my opinion, the hotel should share the blame. Communication with the service should be ongoing to prevent this from happening. Even if the hotel has to bring in their own staff to help out, this should not happen! Hilton prides itself on customer service, this is what I pay for. Hilton, or the hotel owners should do better!

The location is great. The classic architecture of the hotel is wonderful. Room and bed were very comfortable overall. Amenities overall were great.

Conversation and walking noise from other rooms bled through into our room. The room could have been quieter from outside noise.

Comfy beds, electric blinds that can be lowered or raised with a switch, free coffee and tea in room with Keurig, nicely decorated

No hot water(just happened to happen when we stayed there, they did offer a discount though), the king bed room we booked was not ready at the check in time we confirmed days ahead of time, and walls/doors were not sound proof and we could hear other people easily

The staff worked really hard to overcome problems because of low staffing. Being at 6th and Vine was perfect for enjoying the city. The hotel is beautiful!

The hotel is struggling to get staff after COVID. So the cafe and bar were mostly closed and the restaurant was completely closed. This wasn't a problem, as the area has many places to eat, but it was a negative.

The hotel itself was great. Location was perfect, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Staff was friendly and nice. Rooms comfortable and clean.

When booking the hotel, we paid extra for breakfast to be included. Only to find out the next morning the restaurant wasn’t open and that wasn’t an option. Hotel informed us they have an open “case” with booking.com to prevent this from happening in the future.

It as very clean. The staff was polite, I loved the atmosphere. There was a bar available until 11 o’clock. I would definitely stay there again. 

The only complaint I have is the valet parking hitting the curb.
