Renaissance Cincinnati Downtown Hotel

Location was very good in downtown Cincinnati; loved being on a relatively high floor (15th); bottled water was complimentary; room was very quiet, aside from street noise, but that's kind of unavoidable (there was no elevator noise, etc); staff was very friendly. While checking in, the parking valet asked when I would need my car in the morning (to ensure somebody would be available if I was checking out unusually early.). Check in staff was very helpful explaining the free street car system in the downtown area, which I used.

When I arrived, the parking valet was nowhere to be seen; had to unload the luggage myself and inquire about the valet while checking in. He did promptly appear and all was resolved, but still would have liked somebody to essentially be at the curb when I pulled up.

The food at the restaurant. We enjoyed lunch both days. Excellent!! The hot water in the shower was actually HOT and that a plus.

Needed towels. Weekend crew kinda missed the mark on Sunday.

We love the location it was very convenient, right up the road from the stadium in which we were visiting for the Bengals game. It was a great first experience for me in Cincinnati and the staff were very friendly. The valet parking was very respectful

The only downside to the room was there was a bit of hair in the shower and on the bed and on the carpet so it wasn't a large amount and I was still satisfied

Room was comfortable, we had a great view, people were friendly.

Valet never gave us our keys when we left and no one came to help get out the door or load up the car. Since we had push button start and an extra set of keys, we left without the keys. Our only negative experience that the valet should have helped us and make sure we got our keys.

but was thrilled when I saw how much taxes were on final bill and wasn't happy about it. Also to pay almost 50 per day for parking is excessively high also wish there was a microwave in room

I would stay here again. Check in was easy and staff very welcoming. Great location, clean room and bathroom and comfortable bed/pillows. I like a super cold room and was able to get the AC down low so that was a plus. One small gripe is the coffee in the room was awful. I couldn’t even drink it and had to pour it down the sink. That needs to level up to match the rest of the stay. Otherwise a great stay.

My door did not lock properly from the inside do to a screw missing from the latch. It created a large gap at the bottom of the door. I told the concierge 3 times all different staff members it was not fixed during my stay. It was very busy and they did say they would get to it.

We got back to the hotel at 11:00 after a concert, and the bar was closed. We were thirsty and hungry. I think it would be wise and financially advantageous to keep the bar open after big events until 1:00am

The heating controls were not easy to use and the bed had limited covers so we had to request more as I was cold over night

The entire hotel is decorated gorgeously. Very moody, sexy, boutique vibe. We loved all the lounge spots. All of the staff was great - friendly & helpful. We were upgraded to a suite when they found out we were celebrating a 40th birthday. Made the trip even more special. We had so much room and enjoyed our in room bar area.

The lighting is not great in the bathroom. We found it hard to do our makeup. They provide a lighted makeup mirror, but ours wouldn't work.
