large room, just like their picture, I’m only one person, the reception gave me a little pricer queen bed instead of my double queen beds booking, the room was clean, well maintained furniture, comfy beds, functional kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, pot, pan, and tableware. The staffs were friendly and helpful. There is laundry and vending machine. Out of town but surrounded by huge green areas, very nice. There is a public pool across the street featured on TV news, a fair on Saturday, don’t know if every Saturday, food from different regions. Bus to fairy, Walmart, Dollar Tree, a little challenging cause only every 30 mins but almost fit the schedule. The price is less expensive than the hotels in town, more nature, more comfortable stay.

not much close by but plan a trip for shopping can store what’s needed

I liked that the hotel was exactly as described. It is a budget hotel that has what is necessary for a comfortable stay. Comfortable beds, a complete bathroom, a mini kitchen equipped with a fridge, microwave, sink, etc. Its location is also relatively convenient because it is close to the ferry station and it is 10 minutes by car from all the important locations to visit. The hotel is in a quiet area, and I felt safe.

Improve cleanliness. The air conditioning vent was extremely dirty with insects, dust, tree leaves, which means that every time the air was ventilated we breathed all that. In addition, the drains in the bathroom and sink were full of dirt, almost clogged, and when I brushed my teeth, seeing that was very disgusting. There was also a lot of dust on the head of the bed and the lamps.

I like the location of the room. It was not in the heart of the city and in a quiet area near a navy base so it was a pretty safe place. I am told it can get dangerous in other areas. I love that the room had a stove and appliances. The room was clean and simple. Not a luxury room but comfortable and very easy to relax.

I didn't like that there was not much easy transportation to the heart of the city. To go across the bridge the ubers were costly. However, if you plan the bus schedule it would be less cost. if you have a rental then you will be in perfect shape.

It was the perfect accommodation for our trip to the New Orleans French Quarter Festival. It is located in Algiers Point within three miles from the Algiers ferry with a short, direct ferry to the French Quarter. This allowed us to avoid higher lodging costs, crowds and parking fees of staying New Orleans proper. The room had everything we needed including a full kitchenette, two queen beds, small dining set and work table and chair. The staff was very helpful and provided whatever we needed for a comfortable stay.

The room was very dated and in need of a major updating. The areas around the toilet and bath tub have large amount of caulking build-up and the carpet needs to be deep cleaned. The major issue we experienced was a strong odor that smelled like either disinfectant, carpet cleaner, pet odor (or a combination of the three). Fortunately, the smell lessened the longer we stay in the room. The question for any future stay is whether the positives outweigh negative.

The neighborhood was quiet, there was plenty of parking spaces, and I enjoyed having the small kitchenette. I traveled with my husband, small daughter and my mother. There is not an elevator but it's only 2 floors.

soda & snack machines were not working Only 1 coffee mug, 1 dinner plate and 1 small plate available in room.

The staff was very friendly. The room was large, and clean! Nice layout of the room. Great for multiple people. Very short distance to the city and half the price!

Tv reception is horrible, it is COX satellite and most channels you cannot get. No local channels. I like to watch the local news when I travel. That was a no go. Some of the area around the hotel is vacant and sort of creeps me out, but it is a safe area. No problems while I was there.

The rooms are very large with a little kitchen area. Everything was clean and comfortable. This does not have a pool but there is a community pool across the street that is free to use. Parking was free which was a major bonus. Safe & quiet area. No problems.

The bath tub in our room needs a refinishing job but it wasn't gross. It was still very clean.

Vary good value. Quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed.

This is a modest place. That said, it was clean and comfortable. A few things were a little rundown: for example, the table was rickety. Also, you had to have a car - or call a cab - to go anywhere. There were no stores, restaurants, etc. in walking distance.

everything…stayed there before as i am a local. i just wish that during high season locals could receive a discount.

no breakfast or coffee pre made in lobby with pastries. the property lends to the idea of having a free breakfast even if that means, free croissants and muffins with coffee or tea🥰

We loved the location first and foremost! Situated on a military base( the hotel itself former Army barracks!), now in various forms of abandon; however still very much in use. You just have to visit to understand. 2 easy blocks walk to the Mississippi where Coast Guard ships are docked. The hotel itself is very clean. We were greeted so warmly by the wonderful Mz. Lita (oooo I hope I remember her name right) She is a wealth of information, suggestions, and smiles. Laundry facilities, cold water, well stocked vending machines. I requested to recieve a ground floor room with 2 queens, they kindly obliged. The room was HUGE! Very roomy. A large desk,a small dining table with 2 chairs, plenty of various lighting and plugs. The kitchenette was so useful! Stove, fridge, microwave, sink and dishes, pots & pans provided. Super Comfy bed! Go to the store and get some juice, snacks, a steak, whatever to cook in your kitchen. There's nothing within walking distance to just pop out and grab something. ENJOY Algiers Point! The history is truly fascinating. Get a Ferry pass for 3 dollars and enjoy both sides of the water. No pool at this hotel, but there is a fitness center with a gorgeous pool directly across the street. We will ALWAYS stay at this property every time we visit NOLA.
