The location just can’t be beat! Plus this was the trip we got engaged, so we will forever enjoy our time here.

I would pay the extra money for the upgraded room by the courtyard. we originally had the back building and our room was soooo humid.

This was a quaint and attractive hotel in the quieter end of the French Quarter. Oozing with charm and traditional French Quarter features. A tranquil and beautiful courtyard with fountain offered a peaceful area to sit, with a bonus of a lovely swimming pool. The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped, with feature doors opening to a juliet balcony. We stayed for 5 nights. It was within walking distance fo Frenchman Street and Bourbon street but quiet enough as out of the main busy areas

Very little to be honest. But as in all areas of French Quarter you do hear the dust carts coming round int he early morning and sometimes revellers outside at night. This did not detract in any way from our stay.

Well situated in the French Quarter - can access Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, Louis Armstrong Park, Frenchman Street, Riverwalk, streetcars, easy walk even to Treme.

It was mainly a noise issue. While the hotel itself is on a quiet road away from the bustle of Bourbon St, the room access is from the outside (no hallway) so it could get a bit noisy when other guests were returning to their rooms. Also the flush was super loud (and powerful, so I am ok with that). The facade was under construction while we were there so we did have to walk around it, but it's understandable since we were there on the off-season

Quiet building even though we were in French Square. Beautiful architecture inside and out. The lobby looks so nice and the bar too. The rooms were small but enough to have a good rest, very comfortable beds. The pool had good nice lighting to enjoy at night and the water was warm, very relaxing. The guy that helped us check in and out was very kind and knowledgeable of the area, cant' remember his name but he said he was from Texas. We loved the coupon for the BOGO at the bar. Cafe Beignet on Decatur was the best!

Too many homeless people and addicts in the French Quarter, it was sad and made us feel unsafe. Bourbon Street smelled so bad , like throw up and pee :(, loud cursing people on the street and this was around noon, We did not dare to go out after 7:00 with our kids.

Staying at Hotel Provincial was a wonderful experience. From check in- to check out everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, The location is perfect. Close enough to all the attractions yet far enough away for it to be peaceful and quite. We arrived early and the process to store our bags was very helpful. In addition we had a late flight and being able to store our bags was great because it allowed us to enjoy a full day in NOLA before going home. When we return to Nola we will absolutely stay here again. It's so close to literally everything that you want to experience about NOLA.

This hotel is fantastic. Close enough to Bourbon and Frenchman Street but far enough away to stay clean and noise free. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the bar area a nice little space for a relaxing drink. The pool is SUBLIME and very much needed after a morning sightseeing. Room was spacious, clean and comfy with the housekeepers doing wonderful job. Valet was great and the layout and history of the hotel just wonderful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel has Divided Sections to Stay in. We just happen to be above the "French Toast" restaurant so a strong smell of Breakfast in the morning. Room was Nice, bedding and Shower were acceptable. People and Noise were not heard so much since our room did not face Decatur Street. The Hotel's Location is central to just about everything with in about 5-10 min. Casino's were about a 25 min walk. Staff was Friendly and greet guest.

Several sidewalks and Streets are in need of Repair when one is walking while sightseeing. One has to be aware of sidewalks and Streets needing repairs.

The original “vibe” of the property. It was old but very “French Quarter” NOLA. The breakfast restaurant is basically right on their property. The staff were very accommodating to a few requests we had and friendly. The beds were comfortable but some of the furniture could be updated in the rooms….sitting chairs we stained and in need of repair. The location was excellent, sights we wanted to see we within walking distance - even Frenchman street.

The interior could use some paint freshening up…

Well located. Toast, an excellent breakfast spot is right across the parking lot. The French Market is nearby. The hotel does a good job considering the age of the infrastructure. Staff is very helpful and friendly. If you spend most of your time near Jackson Square or Canal Street, this is not an ideal location for you unless you are into long distance walks.

Electrical receptacles in the lamps used to plug in phone chargers were loose.

Beautiful lobby, nice pool. Although the bar was not very appealing in ambience and decor, the barman made excellent cocktails. Decent shower pressure and thick towels

We were stuck in an annexe, rather than the main building, convenient for breakfast at French Toast, but not for walking to the pool in a towel… the bed was a bit soft for my taste, nice pillows though :) My friends paid for a premium double, which was smaller than the double and without the promised view (at least not a view anyone would want!). Our room was fine
