The connivence.

The steps leading to the second floor were horrible. I actually slipped down. Thankfully I caught myself. Please fix ASAP!

The location was PRIMO! Just a short 5 minute walk to the gated parking lot and a short 10 minute walk to the "action on Bourbon Street". We loved coming back to our room as home-base during the trip. Paul was the guest services attendant and we talked with him a lot. He was so nice and knowledgeable. Paul and my boyfriend even had a mini jam session with Paul's guitar. It was a big highlight of our trip.

The sheets were comfortable, but we did notice black flakes or lint residue on the sheets when we arrived. We were able to knock them off the bed and that was the only negative comment we have about the hotel. Everything else was perfect. The shower, the bathroom amenities, the vibes, the aesthetic, and the LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!

Staff: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I refer to all the staff (front desk, maintenance, and cleaning staff). We did not need anything extra, but it was nice that they had a guest fridge, guest microwave, and disposable plates available for leftovers in the lobby. We called ahead of time, so we knew about the fridge/microwave. Location: Nice location. We are very familiar with New Orleans, so we knew the location. Coffee: A Keurig was in the room and there was one in the lobby as well. They provided Styrofoam cups, four pods, and four creamers the first day. They would have provided more upon request. There were additional pods in the lobby. I knew this ahead of time and brought extra pods. Noise: It was pretty quiet overall (even for New Years weekend). The only noise we really heard was the upstairs guests clomping down the stairs late at night. Nothing can be done about that other than to remind people to be respectful of those around you. Drop-off/Pick-up: As with any small boutique hotel options in New Orleans, you have to have a plan ahead of time for drop-off and pick-up. There are parking spots on the street, but it was parked up. We found a temporary spot on the end of the block, threw on our hazards, and were able to unload without any hassles about half a block away. One couple attempted to park right out front and she ended up pulling around the block several times (noted while we were waiting for our room to be ready .... we were early). It would have been better had she just pulled up and quickly took everything out of the car and then go park (one of the couple was there to watch their stuff). Anyway, just think about this ahead of time, so you do not get flustered (one of them was doing the eyeroll thing and getting frustrated with the driver). Parking: There is a lot owned by this company at a sister location that was $30/night. We researched ahead of time and parked in a city pay lot and paid $36 for three nights.

Hmmm... there really wasn't anything we didn't like. Nothing that we even discussed really. We have stayed many places in New Orleans, so we are very familiar with smaller hotels. The bathroom is a bit small, but that is to be expected with boutique hotels like this. It would have been nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. But we knew this ahead of time (as mentioned above), so really nothing to complain about. As stated above, they provided a fridge and microwave in the lobby. It is a small enough place where we weren't worried about leaving our food in the refrigerator.

The location was perfect. Close to the French Market and Bourbon Street. The area was very quiet. The courtyard was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room didn't have any chairs so the only place to sit was on the beds. The room safe was in a closet on the floor and looked very rusted so we didn't use it. The doors to the rooms are so narrow that you have to enter sideways. For people with mobility issues or larger people this is an issue.

Excellent location. Our room didn’t have any window and at the first sight was a little bit disappointed the location but it was really clean and the darkness gave us a little good night sleep. It was 8 min walking to Frenchmen st and the Bourbon st it was at next corner but far enough from the craziness (5 min). Comfortable bed. Good size bathroom. AC working perfectly. It’s a place for who just need a room to sleep and don’t need use facilities.

There’s no mini fridge or microwave in the room but they have in the reception free for use. Also they have a coffee machine. Only one chair in the room.

Actually- the property owners moved us to another property- The LaMothe Hotel. It was really nice overall. Not really fancy-but we had a nice room in the annex across the street. The lighting was really bad in the room- but there's not much can be done about that with the age of the property. Lets talk about the impressive re-do of an 1830s house into a hotel. Killer pool. Nice folks.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had free wifi. It was very clean and everything was in order. There is a coffee maker in the room with choice of tea. It also had a nice tv screen.

The building on a dark street, so when you are arrive by foot at night it can be a bit scary if you are traveling alone as a woman. It would be great if they add lighting outside and at the entrance. Also the shower didn't have great water pressure, and it was too slow to drain, so maybe it was clogging.

The location of this property has to be the best feature!!!

We stayed in a out front room this time… and the doors didn’t close completely. There are 2 rooms that connect straight for eh street… and we stayed in the 1st one! The doors not closing all the way, created an air gap, which didn’t help when trying to keep the room cool! And it also allows so much noise to come through the door… so we didn’t sleep very well.

The housekeeping was exceptional. They were very kind and accommodating. Location is great. Everything worked fine. AC was very cold and the room wasn't humid at all. The room was also very clean, including the bathroom.

The stairs are too steep, people staying here have suitcases which are extremely hard to bring up stairs that are so steep, I felt that they were dangerous and people probably get hurt often.

The location is absolutely excellent. So close to the action but on a quiet street itself. Some very pretty and historic buildings nearby. The bed was comfy, the room clean and safe. The staff were attentive and helpful.

The room itself was quite awkward in terms of space and layout, and a little tired in place but given the price I felt it was completely reasonable.
