Grand Beach Inn

I loved the heated pool, 2 minute walk to the beach, the restaurant on property was fantastic (I got the lobester Benny, sooo good!!) , washer/dryer hook up on the same floor (2nd floor)

Bathroom … looks like it was remodeled, but there were parts under the sink that wasn’t finished ( I know out of sight out of mind, but I’m detailed oriented, also the tub was if it was new but had a lot of sticker residue) … oh also there wasn’t a phone in the room to call the front desk, I had to look up the number on my phone and then call ( we wanted more pillows and wanted to request a room refresh ☺️

The staff was very friendly and attentive to all my needs. Kerry the hotel manager was such a wonder and unbelievably friendly person. She made sure I had everything i needed ( especially a pan when I forgot one to make dinner ). The entire staff was so friendly. They made my stay so comfortable, fun and relaxing. The room was much bigger than I expected. Very spacious. I loved that the property was close enough to the pier. Also just far enough away to enjoy a relaxing day at the hotel without all the chaos of the beach. I will definitely be coming back to the Grand Beach Inn.

although the weather we went to Maine was rainy and cloudy, if it were nice out this place is beautiful. close to the beach, staff was great, some more than others. overall good experience and will come again.

just one staff member couldve been more nicer to us. but we brushed it off, the rest of the staff was wonderful. very happy.

The room was very clean and spacious, much bigger than I was expecting. It was also super close to the beach, which was our main reason for going. Although we didn't eat there, it was great to see a restaurant right on sight. It might have been worth eating at the restaurant, as the prices at the Pier were very high. The kids enjoyed the pool too.

It would have been nice to have had a broom in the room. We tracked back sand from the beach, which is very fine. We couldn't avoid bringing some into the room with us although we tried brushing as much off as possible. So we got sand on the floor and it would have been nice to have swept it up to avoid it sticking to our feet and bringing some into bed. LOL

The room was very spacious and clean. The beach being so close was awesome! It made carrying stuff easier and finding a bathroom not necessary. The sunrising is breathtaking and the moon was incredible! White sand and perfected waves.

The only thing I would recommend is they paint the stairs in the pool, a different color then the pool. My son swam right into them bashing his head. He was underwater swimming with googles on ( his eyes were open ) and did not see them. Pool was over crowd during most of our stay. We barely used it at all and when we did that happened.

The space was fabulous for the cost. The value was above and beyond...more than what was expected. While we came prepared with filters and coffee, we were at a loss as it was a fabulous little Kerig Machine. But with that said, unlimited pods WERE provided. A BIG win!!!

Our unit had a great little kitchen. We love to have tge convience of cooking some meals. Cleanup was a little difficult as there wasn't a sponge or dish soap available. We figured out a solution...notva great one but it worked.

The location was great. The outside was cute with the pool, fire pit areas and picnic tables. The location was off the craziness of the pier but not too far either. The beach was directly across the street and that section of the beach wasn’t crazy packed. As for the rooms they were fine fairly clean besides the floors but besides that they were good. We requested rooms next to each other and that was accommodated.

The staff wasn’t overly friendly. Something you should know that isn’t advertised on the website is that they only allow one car per room. I went for my bachelorette party we had booked two rooms and had threee cars and ended up having to park the third card somewhere else for the night and it cost us $60. The website says plenty of parking but does not state this!! We went to the restaurant on site and it took us over an hour to get breakfast food. While at the restaurant we could hear the cooks fighting and swearing at each other so loud you could hear it outside. There were kids in the restaurant and it was unprofessional. I can’t say I’d recommend the restaurant itself.

Loved everything about this place. Great staff, great room, fun pool, beach is across the street. Cant beat it!

The room we stayed in with a dog and 2 infants was all the way on the 3rd floor (which I was unaware of when we booked) so it was just very rough getting all of our belongings and the babies and dog up the stairs and to the room. However, when leaving, two staff members carried our wagon with all of our belongings down all the stairs for us and let us go ahead to the car with the babies. Was extremely thoughtful of them and helped alot.

The staff was great. We were kinda of difficult with request for stuff and they had no issue getting what we needed ina timely manner

First day we got here the bar/ restaurant was not open when we got here. One morning went for breakfast that said was open till 11. Went at 20 min of 11 to order food and was told they shut the kitchen down early. That was after I helped 2 of their guest jump start cars. Honestly not sure if the bar/restaurant is part of the hotel or if its different. But that was my only complaint

my 9 yr old son LOVED the heated pool. we really enjoyed our stay and thought all of the staff were friendly and accommodating. we were missing a broom to sweep up the sand from visiting the beach which was on us but they gladly gave us a broom so we could do our part in cleaning up. The staff member at the desk did offer to come and sweep for us but I told her it was ok and I’d do it. We made sure to take care of our space like it was our very own. Thank you for welcoming us the way your staff has and being so helpful with needing extra things. everyone there was great. we really enjoyed the gentleman singing at the restaurant attached last night as well. We will definitely love to come back again💜
