Sonder at Pierce Boston

The apartment was spacious and modern. It was located near the sights I wanted to see in Boston. Close to the "T" station. Lots of shops and restaurants located within a few blocks of the hotel.

There was no cable television. You needed to have entertainment options on a device that could be used with the system in the room. However, the attendant installed an antenna that allowed us to get about 5 channels. The drain in the shower was very slow. Told front desk at checkout about it.

It was for a Red Sox/Fenway Park destination trip. We went out the front door, took a right and walked 900 feet to Gate D at Fenway! The room was like a studio apartment, very clean, lots of supplies, great management!

We came in late & could not get the TV to work. Tried doing the Google Chrome & casting thing but it’s a pain. There’s no basic, just turn it on, TV provider. Couldn’t find anyone I knew who used it to help. In the morning (10am) the office worker hooked up the TV to antenna for me. Not the best set up but it worked. And, the bed was too hard but, that’s just my opinion.

walking distance to Fenway Park.

learning about parking in Boston was a challenge. I don’t live in a place where there is paid parking. Sonder did alert me to the need but I would have liked more education about parking

Exceptional location. Safe neighbourhood. Green MBTA line (Fenway station) within walking distance. Uber and Lyft readily available. Walking distance to Fenway Park (if you are a baseball fan). Paid public carpark conveniently located nearby. Cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. Star Market and a Target (includes a mini supermarket) within 5 minutes walk. This is convenient as the apartment has a full kitchen. Laundry facilities available and very helpful. A TV with Chromecast. Very clean apartment (cleaning services on request). Friendly staff at Sonder (on the 11th floor) and the building front desk (lobby) (Pierce Boston is a private apartment / condominium).

Cleanliness, security, view from the apartment, Sonder office in the building, location (supermarket across the street, Target within a few min walk, restaurants and cafes along the same street).

Parking. Street parking - constantly full. Nearby garages - need to walk a few min. Wish there was a space secured for loading/unloading, at least. Need to download Sonder app and create an account - didn't know it till my booking was completed and payment was made.

We stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful apartment. The location is excellent. The room's clean, very bright and roomy. The building itself is brand new and extremely well maintained. We thank you to the concierge of Pierce Boston (Viviana and friends) as they really assist us in everything and extremely helpful. The staff of Sonder itself was not helping too much. He barely knows everything. I will definitely come back and stay in this apartment in the future.

The apartment was clean, well stocked with sundries. The staff was outstanding in that they were friendly, knowledgeable , helpful and professional.

More over head lighting in living room over table. Very dark to eat or play board games. No access to Regular tv. Only chromecast. No Exhaust fan in bathroom No Grab rails in shower Bed too low for seniors or people with mobility issues. Tub drain slow in one bathroom Sink drain slow in another bathroom. The location is very close to Fenway but all other attractions were way uptown.

The apartment was clean, spacious, new and had a lot of natural lighting.

The fan speed could not be regulated. There were some great amenities, but some free water to get you started would have been nice.

Great location.

We got locked in the stairs trying to go up 2 floors because the elevators were very slow. The person at the front desk was less than sympathetic- stating that it is a fire code. My kids were hysterical and crying and scared. I think locking the staircases to fire exits is a terrible idea, and the building should be visited by the BFD to be inspected

As a family of 5, we don’t fit very well in one hotel room. We are big fans of Sonder now that we have stayed there. It felt like we got the best of a hotel and the space of a Vrbo. Apartment was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. It was nice having a grocery store across the street which helped us with breakfast in the apartment in the morning. Location is very convenient to restaurants and subway. Check out was super easy…more like a hotel than a Vrbo. Sonder staff was on site and very friendly and helpful. We love this company now and will stay with them in other cities!
