My Place Hotel-Carson City, NV

Did not order this breakfast. Very unhealthy options of processed foods and high sugar content. Brought my own. Reception at check in was very friendly and informative. TV was great, as it worked very simply and easily with the remote and channel guide. Place was very clean and new. Almost everything in the room worked well.

The ice maker spit out 6 cubes, then quit working. The 2nd floor location of my room was not good; someone above me was walking heavily. The traffic noise kept me awake all night, too. Next time I will request a top floor and back of building location.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was great with a full size refrigerator, which really helped having our younger granddaughter with us. Even the beds were pretty comfortable for a hotel :) Great place to stay for 7 or more days.

The only thing we didn't like was the shower, which seems to be at most hotels. The bathroom was clean including tub but the shower head sprayed everywhere, it takes forever to get shampoo out your hair.

I really liked this hotel. So much so that I extended my stay and booked a stay for my husband after that (we are relocating to the area and need short term housing as we house hunt). Staff are lovely - gave me great recommendations for activities and were flexible with me (allowed me a late check out when one reservation expired and the next took effect so I didn't have to pack everything out to my car and then back in). It's in a good location. Strong WiFi - I had to do classes, meetings and a group project virtually and had no issues w/connectivity (you do have to re-sign the terms and conditions every 24 hours though). Honestly staying here makes me wonder why I don't just live in a studio - it's all I really need.

They have fantastic kitchens in each room BUT I think they should make it more clear that the kitchen is not equipped. There is a toaster, and a coffee maker, dish-soap and towels but nothing else. I read previous reviews in advance so I knew and brought my own pots, pans, cutlery, utensils, tupperware etc (I'll be here for over 30 days so it mattered). If they would just explain it better on their website, they'd have less disappointed guests I think.

The price and the amenities in the room. The bed was comfortable. New and clean. We really appreciated the recliner in the room since my husband recently had surgery and isn't comfortable lying down.

I called to see if there was breakfast and she told me there were items to purchase. I wish she had told me there would be a kitchenette in my room. The housekeeping staff was SO LOUD in the morning.

We had issues with the cleanliness of the room there was there was a plastic bag wrapped around the smoke detector the 1st night that we stayed and housekeeping said they would take it off but it was still on there that night when we got back to the hotel so we ended up taking it off ourselves the air conditioner looks like it had it been wiped down in a couple months so I actually ended up doing that ourselves and The shower had hairs that weren't ours

A full kitchen! It has two stove top, a microwave, and a full size refrigerator. Cooking pot is not available in the room, but can ask the front desk. Dinnerware is also not in the room, but front desk has some paper plates. Not for serious cooking, but good enough to heat some food. Front desk is very helpful and friendly. I changed my travel plan due to a medical condition, and the front desk kindly processed my refund request.

Clean. Bed was comfortable. Met expectations of what a hotel room can be. Had a desk, plenty of plugs and good lighting.

No one was at the front desk when we checked out. Our room 222 was near the outside lighted up sign and the light came thru the edge of the pull down shade. There is no curtain to block the light coming in

This is a wonderful comfortable hotel especially for long term stays. The staff is top notch.

If you are there for a long time the quality of the intermittent room cleaning is inconsistent. Sometimes they clean items that need to be cleaned - other times they don't. A checklist system might help?

Great staff, great location, great value, quiet, safe.

This is not a complaint just an FYI. Bring your own kitchen supplies. They provide 2 dishtowels, a toaster, a conventional coffee maker, and dish soap. Bring your own EVERYTHING ELSE and this is a wonderful place for a long term stay.

The room was very spacious and well laid out.

We were at the end where all hours of the night the outside door would slam or maybe it was a staff room but I'm thinking it was coming in or outside door. That making my door bark and run to the door.
