BridgePointe Hotel & Marina

I needed a handicap accessible restroom and it was large and roomy to accommodate my wheelchair. The bed was comfortable and we had a view of the water.

Breakfast was a little bit of a disappointment. They use powdered eggs which are not the best tasting. My partner wanted pancakes but they only had waffle makers, maybe have 1pancake and 1 waffle maker. The only fruit available were bananas. Overall breakfast wasn't the best but it was just "ok".

We stayed at Bridgepointe to see the fireworks directly across the river at Lawson Creek Park. We asked for and got a fourth floor room, wonderful for the on and off rain. This year we stayed in the room for the whole event. We saw a lot of guests in the parking lot and on the lawns too. The parking lot was blocked to only admit guests of the hotel. An amazing experience! Comfortable beds and very clean room. Good TV for watching the National Concert and the NY fireworks.

Everything was great.

The most attractive features of this hotel are that it's very dog friendly and within a short drive of the historic downtown of New Bern. It offers a water view and a large grassy area for dog walking.

The dog-friendly room decor is somewhat dated and dreary but clean. It's probably by design as the wear and tear of canine guests is less noticeable. The dog-free rooms may be more cheerful and attractive.

The amenities and the location were nothing short of perfect. Really enjoyed my stay here.

The wi-fi service was kind of iffy; we couldn't use our tablet or laptop for internet. The air conditioning unit needs to be repaired due to a noise it makes occasionally. The carpet could stand to be replaced; there are stains in certain areas.

The location was very good and convenient. The value the value comparably speaking was also good

The breakfast was so so at best. I ate there 2 times. Fruit was available, bananas only and 30 of 30 were Brown. Eggs tasted like right out of a box.

I didn't like the Bkft. The coffee was a disappointment. Barely warm..... Frest Hot coffee is the one thing most guests want and need. Its probably the easiest thing to fix. On the other hand the view was great!

The breakfast was "Fair". It was the one area I fell need some improvements. Here are some specifics.. - While the view was beautiful, the room was drab and does not present an atmosphere conducive to getting your day going. A modest facelift/update would enhance the experience. - Variety of Breakfast items were minimal. Suggest adding someone to make omelets - Coffee was flat and barely warm. Fresh HOT coffee is the one thing most guest want (NEED). Its probably the easiest to improve.

Great location, plenty of parking, quiet, beautiful views. Super easy walk or drive into downtown New Bern. Breakfast was very good for a hotel.

Bed wasn't the greatest but it was still pretty good for a hotel. Liked that they used washable white comforters vs some of the heavy duty covers that you know never get washed. :) The bathroom was a little dated but overall pretty good quality (and clean) for the pricerange.

Location to downtown perfect. Loved the pond n turtles. Like the bear statues.

I had no phone. Ask several times to fix. No one checked it out . Said they would??Had noisy neighbors up till 3:15A M and no way to call desk to have noisy lowered.

Breakfast location people/staff.

Carpet needs replacing. Stains real bad maybe from pet which I dont like staying in a room they have been in. Shower needed repair. Sink needed stopper. Fridge not level. Pool had leaves etc. In it.

Location and view free mbrje room was great.

It would be great if the rooms had balconies where you could sit outside and enjoy the view of the rivers. Rather than just through the window.
