Hampton Inn and Suites Swansboro Near Camp Lejeune

The location is away from the touristy business but a short drive away from places & activities. This is the FIRST time I have ever walked barefoot on hotel carpet because the room (& facility) looked and smelled so clean. I also don’t typically use the comforter on the bed, but did this trip because it was so clean. The hot breakfast was great! The first morning there was scrambled eggs with fixings (shredded cheese, salsa, etc.), bacon, home fry potatoes, & the typical carb options (waffle maker, toast, bagels, pastries, grits, oatmeal, cereal, etc). The second morning, the protein options were egg white frittatas, maple smoked sausage, and bacon. Thank you for the excellent stay! My husband & I will definitely be back if we’re in the area again!!

The elevator made an odd noise when it opened and closed, but at least we didn’t get stuck in it! 😅

The hotel was very clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were very nice. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. This was a nice location and easy to get to Emerald Isle. There was plenty of parking and lots of leisure areas both inside and by the pool.

The only complaint would be that only one elevator was working and it was slow. But even still, we never had to wait too long for an elevator.

The staff was very welcoming. The hotel provided lemon infused water, coffee and fruit in the lobby. I especially liked the staff that served breakfast. They were charming. The room was huge and very clean.

Because I booked at the last minute the price was triple what it was a month previous.

The breakfast was very good and the servers were exceptionally friendly. I really enjoyed the singing from one of the servers. I also appreciated when they asked if the food was to our pleasure.

Although we understand that truckers use this hotel, one truck spent the entire day idling near the pool. The idling made it difficult to enjoy the pool with my partner. It would be helpful if trucks are told to park their trucks AWAY from the poolside.

it was clean and the staff was beyond nice like treat you like your favorite cousin nice. Brittany by the front desk was amazing her hospitality was beyond amazing she welcomed my significant other and I and answered any questions we had.

the breakfast wasn’t 5 star but the kitchen crew were jokesters which made up for the not so great food.

Booking.com had on the website no pets. when we arrived we found that it was a pet friendly hotel. they said no pets were allowed where the food was … there were. I’m allergic to the animal dander and having them in the elevators was not good.

This hotel is excellent! We stayed one night amd we had an amazing experience! The front desk employees were very polite and helpful! The woman running breakfast was cheerful and sweet! She even gave 2 year old a coloring sheet and crayons! Our room was spotless and spacious! The beds are comfortable and I love that Hampton always gives you plenty of pillows!!! We went to the pool and it is very well kept! I recommend this Hampton to anyone who is planning on visiting the Swansboro and Emerald Isle area!!!

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Clean. Nice pool. Free parking. Fair pricing.

The beds are hard. Blankets are not soft at all. The luggage carts are hard to maneuver. Only one ice machine working.

The amenities were nice and plentiful. Nice breakfast and friendly and caring staff. We did experience no hot water our last night, however the staff was very glad to assign another room. But I did not accept, I didn't wish to move all my family items.

All is well.

Booking.com changed our room accommodations. I booked a double room with double beds and they changed it to a king room. We had 2 adults and 2 kids. They pull out sofa was very uncomfortable and you could feel every spring.
