Quick walk to the beach was perfect! Super quiet, not overly busy, store within walking distance, private beach is way better than public beach access areas. WILL BE RETURNING, thoroughly enjoyed the staff as well, very helpful, and happy!

The shower head was only 5 feet off the floor, we we had to duck down to shower, and the pressure isn't great, but we managed!

The location and price were very nice. I can't believe we found a nice room that close to the beach in our budget, We usually have to find a room about an hour away for that price, although it was in the off-season. It's a no-frills room, but let's face it, if you're there, you'll probably be there for the beach mostly anyway. The first thing I noticed when I opened the door was that it spelled nice and clean instead of musty and dusty like other places we had been in during our trip. The beds were actually nice and didn't break our backs. I think it was the first night in 3 days that we actually got a decent night's sleep. There were plenty of towels and washcloths, the bathroom was clean. There was a nice-sized functional TV, a very nice AC unit, and a small fridge as well. The staff were friendly, efficient, and professional, which was great.

The only thing that was missing in our room that was on the room listing was the microwave, but that wasn't a big deal. If we want some hot food and have access to a microwave we'll go to a local grocery store and grab something to heat up, but if not we stick to vegetables and make salads instead. I think the building we were in had just been renovated, so I figure that piece will eventually be added to the room. Everything else was in the room, and all our basic needs were more than covered.

It was a great location, dollar general across the street and a few restaurants walking distance from the inn. There is a walking path right to the beach which is nice as well. The room had an old feel even though things were updated. For the price I would not and can not complain about anything!

There isn't many amenities but I knew that going into it. I wouldn't stay there with kids that need something to do every min of every day but for a solo or couple traveling it's a cheap decent place to stay at a cheap price

Basic beach room! I can see why, as you bring a lot sand back in hahaha - room had a tv, coffee pot, mini fridge and microwave! There is a dollar general directly across the street which was convenient for things we wanted/needed! Staff was great! Great location to the beach and shower at end of boardwalk to use! If you are a boujee traveler that needs a lot of amenities, go elsewhere! ☺️

The TV was complicated to get going but with the help of staff had us up and running quickly! This area is not your booming tourist place , but for us that’s what we were looking for! More piece and quiet! Not a ton of food options in walking distance but a great crab shack, pizza joint and amazing food truck!

A well maintained Mom and Pop type motel! Very nostalgic. Short walk to the beach with a dedicated boardwalk was great. Bed was super comfortable- not too soft but with a nice plush mattress cover. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

The office manager never could get the cable to connect to the TV. But that was the only bad thing about the experience. And not actually the motel's fault.

The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. The cleaning crew was available when you needed more towels and bed covering. The property was very clean and in a great location.

This is not a necessity but it would be good to maybe add a small ironing board and iron in each room. I would also recommend a hairdryer. There should also be a broom in the rooms.

The room had its own kitchen and was spacious. It also had outdoor grill areas. Additionally, there was a private path directly to the beach and a rinse off shower outside upon return. Service was excellent whenever you needed extra towels or had any issues. Location was excellent to stores and fish markets and restaurants in the area.

Room was not cleaned from prior resident and personal belongings were found. Checkout had to be with the office and was not until 9AM when they opened so it delayed our early exit plan.

Really appreciated friendliness of staff and location. We only stayed one night as we were passing through, but I would go back for a longer stay for sure. Nice boardwalk to get you over to an uncrowded beach and close to activities and restaurants. We'll look forward to going back and seeing the renovations that are being done!

Only draw back is we didn't get to stay longer.

We had a problem with our door but they went out of there way to come and fix it. I love the private beach access it was great since we had our kids, I loved the location on the island. There's a DG right across the street. I recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay again!

The bathroom was small but we will definitely stay again.

It has beach access. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff was nice. They had a broom in the room which was great because no matter how much you try and shake/rinse off the sand, it's coming in the room.

I wish it had more useable outlets. I have three children with cell phones and tablets plus my cpap.
