Cambria is always clean and nice with comfortable beds
the staff weren’t the best part of my experience. I wasn’t told a check out time but on the back of the door it says 12 pm, after getting in late i was happy to see that I could sleep in a little but I was woken up by housekeeping who rudely shouted through the door that check out was 11 am. I called the front desk and they told me it was 11 until I mentioned the sign in the room door and they said I was fine to stay till 12 but a few minutes after I talked to front desk the housekeeping lady came back banging on my door. I was so irritated I just got up and left asap

The Hotel is new, clean and good rooms for the price. Staff was friendly. Great location about 10 mins from Carowinds Theme Park and a 5 minute drive to Fort Mill Village Square. Lots of restaurants there.
Loud AC unit in the room where our kids slept on the pull out sofa. The air was blowing on their faces and they did not sleep well. Our room was next to the pool and people were out late talking loud, so be aware of that.

We ordered dinner from the Fox Hole Restaurant which was part of the hotel and it was fantastic. After we ordered the staff even delivered the food to our room which was great especially after our long drive there. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very nice. When we got to the hotel the gentleman working the front desk was very polite and accommodating to our needs.
The shower was very nice but the solid piece of glass does not contain all of the water during a shower. This makes the floor get soaking wet and slippery.

The room ....very cosy and clean,modern and all you can expect for a confortable stay...i loved the set up...really calm and the beding was high quality People at the desk was really professional.
Had to argue when i arrived about a last minute changement about my stay that hadn t been aknowledged at first... But at the end ? We worked together to finally find a really accomodating solution So ...not bad in fact

Hotel Cumbria is a modern new hotel that is well maintained. Bedding was soft and comfortable. Overall we were happy with our experience.
However bookings.com seem to have a third party issue as this was not the first time we arrived at a hotel with our booking in-correct. We had booked two rooms and only one was on the hotel system, fortunately they could accommodate our second request. We were not so lucky with our other booking and had trouble finding accommodation last minute. This was a first time we had this issue with bookings.com, which I must be honest have put us off using them again.

Front desk staff went out of their way to accommodate our request to lower the temp in the gym for us; great value and quality on breakfast and cocktails.
Cleaning staff forgot to make our beds after the first night (we requested it) and provide coffee and such.

I was really impressed with the professionalism at the establishment.The facility was nice and clean and the bed was so comfortable that I fell asleep about 10 minutes after laying in it. I usually stay at the Marriott when I come to Fort Mill to visit my family but for now on it will most definitely be this hotel,the Cambria.

Didn't like how the room was arranged with the TV on the side of the bed.... not sure what that was all about. The bed looked out a huge window of the parking lot?? 😳 I guess I'm kind of use to standard room configurations. But the rooms are very clean and very nice!!

Hotel staff did not straighten the beds daily as requested. Not a big deal, but not consistent with the service throughout our stay.
