The hotel was is in a great location downtown. It was very close to a lot of things we had planned for the weekend. The lobby was very nice and staff was very friendly. The price was unbeatable compared to nearby hotels. We used the valet and their app during our stay. It made it super easy to request our vehicle. Nice restaurant in the hotel as well.

The room was a smaller than most rooms than other major hotels, but not too small. For the price and location, it was great though. We didn't experience major issues, but did have issues with the TV connecting to our phones and also the available free water bottles down the hall always seemed to be out during our stay. Again nothing major enough that we had to contact anyone.

Great location close to main st in downtown. Nice lobby with a tucked-in area for working. Great wifi for working and video calls. Free coffee and tea. Better value than most places.

While check-in in most places is in the afternoon, all hotels will let you check-in early if the room is ready or as soon as it is. We arrived to check-in around 10am and the staff said that there will be an extra $50 for early check-in, unless we want to wait till 11am. We said we'll wait till 11am, then the guy at the check-in just gave us the room. It felt like a really cheap act trying to get a $50 extra when the room is already available or sending us wandering in the street after a red-eye flight.

Hotel was very well thought out to meet needs of business travelers - i.e., computer desk with ergonomic chair; complimentary water bottles in hall; espresso bar in lobby; very well-equipped fitness center. Location in center of downtown with quick access to all points of interest. Parking garage across the street. Very helpful staff. Very good value for the money.

Bed was very comfy, perfect linens/bedding, room was clean, bathroom was large, loved the available 24hr coffee/expresso machine, gym had excellent selection of fairly new and reputable equipment, staff was very respectful and hard working.

The women's and men's bathroom by the gym was almost completely out of toilet paper. The elevator button on 14th floor had to be pressed really really hard to call for elevator. First went to 720 Fannin Street, but that door was locked and didn't realize the entrance was on Rusk St. side (frustrating when raining hard). Deposit should be returned within 24 hours of checking-out.

We had a spacious room with separate lounge, eating and kitchen that was clean, and the bed was comfortable with good quality clean sheets. The room was air conditioned and maintained a good temperature considering how hot it was outside. Noise from other rooms or the street was not a problem.

The bathroom had no fan or ventilation. It did not get too steamy, just too warm. It didn’t help that the downlights were halogens. They should be replaced with LED downlights. There is a headlight in the bathroom for winter when it might be cold. All halogen downlights in the room should be replaced with LEDS to avoid the heat they produce.

Spent 1 night in Houston for a concert at 713 Music Hall and this hotel was within walking distance (0.7mi, 15-20m) at a better value than surrounding hotels. Room was clean and comfortable. The room is quite small, at least the single bed rooms, which was fine and even welcomed for me. There was the bed, TV, desk, closet, and bathroom. Definitely snug, but perfectly fine for one or two people for a night or two. Friendly staff on check-in, nice public spot downstairs to meet others in your party, attached restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner which is very convenient. Parking is in a lot across the street, $25 for 24h with in and out privileges if you talk to the staff and pay in advance. Was a really convenient option, close by, access to the car if you need it. There is also valet. Or you can pick any other lot in the area if you want, but this one was convenient, safe, secure, easy parking. There is free street parking after 6p but seemed like a pain. A lot seems to be the only option if staying in a hotel downtown. Hotel was secure, you need key access for the doors and elevators. Wasn't sure what to expect regarding the safety of the neighborhood, but the theater district is quite nice and walking around at 6p and 11p was perfectly fine (I was there on a Monday so it was quiet, well lit, and not many people out other than some concert goers). Main St. is right around the corner. Plenty of restaurants and Phoenicia Specialty Market is nearby, definitely worth a visit.

Nothing really. System was down for their app you're supposed to be able to use for everything, but that wasn't a problem at all. I was fine with the "old school" check-in with a person and get a key card :) I would note that I ordered food from the restaurant through Yelp/GrubHub that said my order was received, but it actually wasn't, so when I went to pick it up they hadn't even started yet, despite what Yelp said. So just be sure to go in person or check-in with them to be sure they got your order.

The location is incredible! You are right in the heart of downtown and everything is within walking distance. I personally love downtown Houston so I’m probably partial but the location carries really great as far as amenities. It’s a great hotel it’s beautiful the rooms are nice sized. The beds are very very comfortable. The staff was exceptional The front desk staff was so helpful and so accommodating, they were two guys that I cannot remember their names. They were the night staff, and one girl in particular named Julie. That was amazing. They all went above and beyond to be helpful. I had my service dog with me and they were just so accommodating. The only complaint I have is one of the managers that was on during the daytime was so hateful. She spoke to the staff like they were trash. She spoke to the staff like they were idiots. She literally rolled her eyes at me multiple times and had the audacity to talk to me like I was stupid regarding the situation with the elevator after my key been deactivated - in order to access the elevators you must use your key, which I love as far as a safety measure goes, but it’s not convenient when the key has either been deactivated for whatever reason or when you’re trying to check out. I’m going to the front desk three times at this point because he attempted to get the elevator to work for me to go back up and get the rest of my stuff - that last time I was frustrated because it hadn’t worked and this was four times, and she rolled her eyes at me again, and said “ he push the button you just need to be patient and wait!” which wasn’t the case at all because the light was flashing red each time which meant the cards they were using weren’t active. She’s just a horrible person, and an even worse manager, and why she has a job there - i’ll never understand because everyone else was wonderful. She literally stuck out like a sore thumb because everyone was so great while she was really really horrible to everybody.

The manager that I mentioned, and the lack of ice, drinks, etc.
