the hotel is very well maintained and nicely decorated. the downtown location was convenient..the bar was fun and the drinks were good, as were the appetizers we ordered.

the front desk attendant was somewhat condescending and not very friendly. We requested him to call a cab for us and after about 25 minutes we checked back and he told us that he would give us the number in order for us to call ourselves. when we returned to the hotel after our event, around 10:30PM, we were not happy to discover that there was no food service of any kind and there wasn’t even a place to buy snacks. it was rainy and there were homeless people sleeping on the sidewalks so we were not comfortable venturing out afoot, so we went to bed hungry. When I made reservations I asked if there was parking and was told that there was valet parking; however they neglected to inform me that it was $39.00 per day!

Nice hotel! We didn’t get room we paid for but Denise comped our parking & suppose to get some hotel points - very much appreciated this! Room had two bathrooms which was unusual but really liked that!

Bar had a funny smell? Unfortunately there were transients camping near our hotel - so I’m glad we didn’t walk to minute maid park - I know this is not hotels fault. It’s a shame that we even have people living in the street.

I loved that the property was at the head of downtown. it was walking distance to a lot of great restaurants. I also loved the valet service it was worth the price. The people who worked the front desk were some of the best I have ever met and the bartender was also great! We always ended our night at the bar and the drinks as well as the conversation were wonderful.

I wish I had a better view of the city because our room was on the 4th floor and blocked by a tree but other than that it was great!

The staff was amazing. Bobby helped us out with all our needs during our stay.Todi was an amazing bartender Bed was very comfortable and room was nice and cozy. Centrally located and had several restaurants and bars near if you wanted to explore other places.

the room was great, very comfortable. staff was very helpful. Super clean rooms and excellent bathrooms. Front desk and doorman were always on point. Food in the bar was top notch!

there was an awful lot of homeless hanging around outside and sleeping on the sidewalks and on the adjacent blocks- I think across the street is an outreach center? I mean dozens of people camping out. I'm not a fearful person but even I can't take on more than a few lunatics at once if they had the notion to shake me down.

Because of the freeze and no water service through out all Texas, it was not the fault of the hotel that the cleaning staff could not get to the hotel nor that there was no water to make coffee nor that there was no restaurant service. The staff was gracious and wonderful under the existing conditions. All of Texas was shut down. There was no power, no water, no roads open, no airports, no cell towers working and no amenities. The staff did what they could.

Under the circumstances, I liked the two bottles of wine I was able to purchase. I had a working TV in my room so I was aware of how bad the circumstances were unlike all my friends who had no way of knowing anything once their cell phones ran down as there was no way to charge them.

The noise from the surrounding night clubs and or restaurant didn’t get to enjoy the rest inside the room because we were right next a very loud spot. And the parking was horrible off street not good for guest that travel by car but have no where to park unless they pay for valet which in your location valet should be free for the guess. Or at least have a parking garage for your guess.

Very clean comfortable room. Bathroom/shower nice. Walking distance to Minute Maid.

Could hear every little noise nearby. Neighbors talking to hearing their door shut which was quite loud. Front desk staff could be a little more inviting.

The evening bartender wasn’t attentive. Also, we had to wait 30 minutes before the restaurant could service us because it was between breakfast and lunch time (11:00 AM - 11:30 AM). We had arrived to the restaurant at 11:05 AM.

clean. and we loved the treatment we received from the staff. we’ll stay there again. walking was no convenient to Minute Maid. the young man that checked us in was so nice and friendly and helpful
