The Westin Houston Downtown

Well this location is great if your going to Astros game since it’s right across the street!! Very clean and has best beds and service I have experienced!! Yes little pricey but well worth it!! Great consumer service we got at hotel @ 11:00am and was able to check in early which was great since game was at 1pm l!! This hotel will definitely be my go to when going to Astros game!! Thank you Westin for great first experience!!!!

Wish had pool and valet parking little too expensive!!!

. The staff. From car to room all points in-between. I'd like to recognize some staff members but names escape me. First off, the vallet team. So great. Next the young woman who checked us in. What a sincerely nice nice person. Bar staff and restaurant staff. Attentive but not hovering. Ready to be ready when we have a need. It's pretty cool. And not lastly. I called for a baggage cart and was told a member of security would be right there. And was. Very professional but very social. It was more like running into an old friend. He and team went above with bags and car while we ran an errand. Now this was a granddaughter weekend. Her first mlb game and Astros. The entire team, everyone made time to talk and hear her story. Very big weekend. Westin exceeds each next stay.

Loved the set up of rooms. Loved there was enough towels provided for our stay. Quick access to the venue and the options for bar and food . Valet personal was amazing!!! Friendly welcome and no issues on our floor

Bar options after concert hours along with food options. Maybe bar staff not spending time flirting while others wait for their drink. Different drinks for the weekend. Like specials or even more variety.

We were greeted by friendly staff and an amazing smell in the lobby. Our room was clean, comfortable, and beautiful, which made it a great place to recharge after a busy day. We also loved that the hotel was in a convenient location that was close to great restaurants and fun things to do.

We were very happy with our stay, so we didn't have any complaints.

Enjoyed atmosphere and drinks at lounge.

For the first time ever, I was charged extra for valet stating that my vehicle was oversized. I have a Chevy Tahoe. I have stayed here several times before and this was first time foe this charge. While the charge was nominal, it really just seemed like I was being nickel and dime d and it was not appreciated.

Check in service was amazing. Helpful and friendly. The rooms is clean, comfortable and top class. The location is also great and within walking distance to bars, shops and restaurants. Great food and restaturant right in the hotel.

The staff at the front desk and the hotel/restaurant bar were all exceptional. We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary at your hotel, and every person we interacted with bent over backwards to make us feel special. Thanks to all for making our anniversary truly memorable!

I met some colleagues for breakfast in the hotel cafe and it was excellent. The service was great snd the food was good. Nice selection as well. The hotel has very clean, lovely rooms with great bedding and a nice robe. I would definitely stay here again.

There is nothing to complain about. It is a great hotel.

The cleanliness of the entire hotel. And real breakfast.

The tub was on a high rise or at least felt like I was going to fall every time I got out from the shower. Not sure if all the rooms are like that but mine was room 416.

Fun atmosphere

Staff was sometimes aloof and difficult to get their attention when we needed something. Valet was an exception to this. Those guys were great!! Also, no dine in room service “because of COVID.” There was all kinds of dining and drinking in the lobby. Must be a staffing issue? But we didn’t want to eat dinner in all the noise. It was fun early in the evening, but later wanted some quiet.
