Residence Inn Houston Downtown/Convention Center

The free breakfast was welcome, and I think it included a good range for all tastes. The location was fantastic for me - my RedCoach bus dropped me off at the door, and the Astroville Walking Tour of the Tunnels left from the Starbucks at the same location. The Receptionist was able to direct me to an ATM in the hotel reception around the corner which was very helpful.

The latest late check out I could get was an hour later so I elected to book an extra night so I could stay until 6pm when my taxi was booked to take me to the airport.

The check-in staff (Robbea & another gentleman whose name I didn't get but he worked til 8p Friday night and was back at 8a Saturday.) Robbea checked me in early which was soooo helpful. And any issues we had (dead phone) they took care of immediately. The gentleman helped me find a cart when the pickings were pretty sparse. and was just friendly and helpful overall.

My valet parking card said I could text the phone # given and enter the last 3 digits of my valet ID to have them bring my car. But that never worked so I had to call the desk or go to the desk and have them do it,.

Great value for money and everything you need. A well located hotel with large, well equipped rooms, a excellent hot breakfast. Also the hotel is located on the express bus route ( 102 bus)from the Airport and the bus to the Space Center( Bay area park and ride - bus 247). James at reception was helpful and professional.

Didn't try the breakfast but the location was exceptional. Right on the middle of the city. You can take the Houston Metro right at the door of the hotel. Tons of bars and entertaiment just blocks away. Room has all the amenities.

I ended up paying a little more than expected at the hotel, but I think the room and location are worth it. Room service was not available, but they offer a nice free delivery option from several restaurants.

Nice rooms with positive vibrations courteous workforce I enjoyed b/f of Oats along with nuts, Brown bread with butter and Coffee was simply too good Especially the nice behavior of the staff in the dining area, the pace in which they were bringing in replenishments To top it all the ambience that is maintained is superb Real cool

Really best stay ever!! My family enjoyed it a lot. Location is just right, in the middle of downtown! Breakfast is awesome, staff is really nice. We would like to visit again!! Recommended for Family and otherwise.

Nothing much to unlike.

Staff is great, room is super clean and big, it had a little kitchen, full fridge and dishwasher, for longer stays is definitely nice. Esmeralda at Lobby was super super nice! She helped a lot and answered all my questions, she even printed me a map 💜 location is great, 10 minute walking to Discovery Green and 25 minutes from George Bush Airport.

Some bottles with water would have been nice :)

Everything is good but the parking is so difficult to find. Valet parking was 45 per night. Still very comfortable highly recommended just prepare yourself to pay for parking. So many people outside smoking weed as well day and night so if you have kids probably don’t recommend.

Breakfast was reasonable, but a little samey. Fairly standard for complimentary breakfasts.

Lack of reasonable parking for the hotel. Might not be feasible given the location, but the extra expense is a downside.

Breakfast facilities were closed. They were taking go options available at the front desk... Check in was easy and the facilities in the hotel were very clean. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful to my needs.

The room did not have any extra blankets or pillows for the pulll out sofa bed.. I had to go downstairs to try and find someone at 2:00 a.m. to get some blankets and pillows.. Once I made my request the items I needed were delivered promptly by housekeeping. Valet parking prices were Fair however it did take a long time to get our vehicles out of valet but I believe that was due to the high volume of guests in the three hotels that evening.
