Homewood Suites by Hilton Austin/Round Rock

We loved the lady at the front desk when we checked in. I liked that they had a 24 hour laundry room. They had plenty of food/snack options available in the lobby, if needed. Although it is located next to a QT gas station and market. Location is super easy, and located fairly close to restaurants and shopping.

The air conditioner was on the opposite side of the room as the bed. We had a disability accessible suite. And it was pretty warm during most of our stay. And they replaced the ceiling fan/light over the bed with just a regular ceiling light fixture.

The layout of our room was convenient, and having the kitchen was great. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, nothing especially different or noteworthy, but there were hot and cold choices, fresh fruit, and the coffee and food never ran out.

The distance from the elevator to our room was surprisingly far…not a huge inconvenience, but I heard other guests mention it. There was a social hour featuring free beer, wine and snacks - nice idea, but the food wasn’t great.

The key card did not always work on the side doors. But my biggest dilemma was how have breakfast, since I was traveling with a pet—can’t leave pet alone in room, can’t put pet in car (too hot) and can’t take pet in breakfast area. Also, no breakfast to go bags available. Really, really annoying and upsetting.

It was less than 5 minutes from the venue where our event was held. I liked that it was pet friendly, the breakfasr was amazing and the staff was very helpful with every request. I was able to cook my own meals with the items that they had but when upon request they delivered pots and pans efficiently.

They were refreshing the paint and accessibility to the entrance that was closest to our room was blocked for a time. But completely understandable

I liked the setup - living room and kitchen separate from the sleeping area with a door to divide them. It was nice since there were so many of us in the room.

It would have been nice to have had a dog park to take our dogs out to. But the doggy stations were conveniently located.

The room we stayed in was a great price and accommodated our family of 6 very well. We loved the breakfast every morning too. The staff was very kind and though I heard the showers had issues, we had no hot water issues.

In our room, we had a broken toilet seat, broken siding and floor tiles and broken towel rack.

The gentleman customer service was very friendly and polite, the rooms and the facility was very clean and the area is in a great location, very convenient to a lot of places. I also like that it has a stove top, ice maker and microwave, I truly loved my room and would stay there again. Just need to change that 50.00 early check in fee.

Out of all the hotels including some Hiltons this is the FIRST one that wants to charge you 50.00 to check in early when the room is ready, all the others let you check in IF the room is available. I think that's ridiculous and I didn't like that at all. Especially when you've been driving for hours.

The kitchen part was excellent.

The room was quite small. When it said "suite" and cost $200/night, I assumed it was larger. My mistake. "Living room" was joke tiny. Pull out couch was super short (for a 6-foot-tall child) and very uncomfortable. Should NOT be advertised as an acceptable bed.

The breakfast was excellent! Really, that was the reason i chose this hotel, for the hot breakfast. otherwise it is a nice hotel, and has everything you could need.

computers didnt work for printing our plane tickets. Pillows were just okay. i know that is a fussy thing to say but i appreciate a good quality pillow. there wasn't much food choices withing walking distance. pool was closed

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable.

The parking was really bad in the evening we had to park next door at gas station then walk a ways to get to hotel. The dresser in bedroom would not stay closed it kept opening by itself. My grandson got hit in the eyebrow and once on the shoulder when drawer opened.
