Hampton Inn & Suites San Antonio-Downtown/Market Square

Breakfast is one of the important meal to start our day! It helped me and my family to enjoy this features and not worry about where to eat. We’re not from Austin but from Hawaii!! So this is the best!

So far nothing bad at all. I truly hope this hotel continues to keep this place looking as brand new as it is today! We will be back in a year so I pray that this place will remain as beautiful, clean and see the same employees when we return!

Location is good. It's not on the River Walk but it's only a 15 minute walk to downtown. Therefore, you don't have to pay a high price for your stay but yet is still close enough to the central area. The hotel also serves a hearty breakfast. You have a selection of pancakes, omelettes, oatmeal, muffin, sausage, or bacon. There is also a supermarket across the street.

There are some cracks in the bathroom tiles and torn wall paper so the room needs some repair. However, the room is clean. Sound insulation is not that good. I can hear the guests in the next room if they talk loudly and sometimes I can hear the train go by at night.

The young gentlemen in the front office where very polite and friendly and made sure they took the time to help you out in everything you needed. Manager at the property contact me back Immediately and took care of the problem.

Maintenance man was very rude, banging on our door. He was supposed to fix our key reader and never did. We were not able to enter our room. The gentleman in the front office was so sweet and polite that he took matters into his own hands and moved us rooms. Very nice room, reasonable price, awesome breakfast, nice staff. Esme at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Great customer service. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in San Antonio. Also great location right in between market square and river walk. We didnt even use our vehicle we parked at the hotel parking and walked everywhere. From market square to river walk everything was within a 10 minute walk. This is where I'm going to stay everytime I come to san Antonio!

The quietness of the area. Staff was nice.

I'll give the cleaning a 7.. I myself owned my cleaning business, and once you know when it's dirty even a bit,you cannot unsee it. Pool was strong of chlorine,made my eyes burn as I walked in and stayed for about 5 minutes. And lastly,having to pay for parking when the parking belongs to the hotel itself.

The frontdesk staff was very polite and attended to our needs. We love staying in the Hampton hotels where ever we go because the rooms are big and spacious, i have 3 children. And to be able to have a mini fridge and a microwave in our room is the best. Thank you so much.

We stayed in room 223 and the bathroom wall was dirty, and housekeeping didn't clean our room during our 2 day stay. But the bathroom walls were dirty when we got there. And i was disappointed with the breakfast also, there wasn't much to choose from, just waffles. No scrambled eggs or any type of meat. And no serve attendants were available on the floor during breakfast.

Great location for visiting San Antonio! The staff was friendly, nice decor, and convenient to all the sites. We had a car so everything was within a 5-10 minute drive. If you don’t have a car might be a bit far to walk for most. There’s an HEB market (grocery store) across the street from the hotel which is nice for any snacks or essentials you need. We would here stay again!

Room size and sitting area, bed comfort, breakfast offerings, all staff acknowledged us with a Good Morning and smile.

The close proximity to the street which allowed for alot of road noise and hearing people talking Etc. we were on the first floor which was super nice but it did add to noise level.

Front desk staff great....

By accident I spill honey on the counter and try to clean it with napkins and a lady that was wearing black outfit was bragging in Spanish about it I felt so uncomfortable cause I just had surgery in my breast and the cleaning lady before 11 was knocking and knocking my door I try to rush out but can't do many things... Other than that everything was awesome Thank you

The location was perfect, it was in walking distance of the Riverwalk which was the main reason for our visit, we will definitely be staying there again in the near future

The parking lot gets pretty full really fast but it wasn't as bad as other people complained in the reviews
