Middlebury Sweets Motel0

The motel was just as advertised with great looking candy themed decorations in each room. It is a small, quiet motel in a good location just south of downtown Middlebury and convenient to everything including Middlebury College. The breakfast nook was a great idea and very handy so you could have your breakfast items in the fridge in your room when you woke up. There is a candy shop on site with Vermont's largest selection of candy!

The room was adequate. Despite being on a busy road, it was quiet at night. The bed mattress was comfy. They supplied plenty of soap and towels.

Two days they were out of bananas. I expected better food offerings. The yogurt had artificial sweeteners in it. I would have liked non-dairy milk for my cereal.

The property is well-maintained, furnishings and bathroom are new. Even the rooms with two double beds had extra space, meaning if it wasn’t cramped. The check-in staff was very good, and communications were excellent. very close to Middleberry, excellent sandwich shop across street.

The cleaning staff seemed a little rude, but they also may have just been having a bad day. Otherwise there’s nothing bad to say about this property.

The owners are very friendly and highly organized. Every detail is covered. It’s a short drive from Middlebury College, felt safe and was very clean. We only stayed one night but were very comfortable and had everything we needed.

The price seems a little high.

This is like a historic landmark with a unique twist. It's 1950 motel style but renovated with good upgrades in the room and bath. The bed was comfortable, the basket of goodies was a welcome treat and the Staff is friendly and helpful. This doesn't pretend to be a 5 Stat place. It's a new experience to stay in a motel with rooms decorated in candy themes with a big candystore in the middle. Good food and restaurants close by.

The coffee could be fresher, The road noise..we're rural people!

The room was clean. The process to check in and check out was easy and convenient. The beds were very comfortable.

The bathroom was small and I kept bumping into the towel rack on the door. But the bathroom was clean and well stocked.

The room was adorable - very neat and clean - the owner was very nice and accommodating- felt welcome and it was one of the best motels I have ever stayed at. Will definitely go back again! Breakfast was great too!

I have nothing to recommend - everything was exceptional and fun as well!

The staff was very helpful, thoughtful, and friendly. The room was very comfortable. Check in/out was easy. And, the candy store was amazing! You need atleast an hour to check out all the sections. This is a bucket list destination.

Can't think of anything I didn't like.

Location to the town was perfect. Easy access to the unit via text. The room was clean with nice upgrades like tiled shower. The beds were comfortable and there was a bench and desk which worked well for us.
