The Westin Alexandria Old Town

I loved having a dog park right across the street! I don’t know what you do those beds but I’m asleep the minute I lay down. Staff was very nice and helpful, and the hotel was very clean. I didn’t have dinner in the restaurant until the last night I was there because it seemed awfully noisy but the food was exceptional. Especially the grandmother pie!

It would’ve been nice to have more transportation available from the hotel. I have arthritis in my knees and found it very hard to walk to where I wanted to go. Mountain Dew and more snack options in the little store would be nice too.

The shower! I have been to many hotel n not often do u find a place with a great shower! Love it!! Lol The location is great as well n so is the room,very clean n the bed is very comfortable! Did a late check in staff was amazing, accommodating n very sweet! The Trademark restaurant which is connected to the hotel was great as well, The wings n sweet potato fries with bacon n caramelized onion is fantastic including the bartender that helped me get the wings a lil early cause they were only being served starting at 3 n the young manager was great! Love love love it!! Already book my next stay! Oh also the shuttle driver that got me to king street the day I checked out was amazing!! Can't wait to go back! When u find a good place it's a beautiful thing!! 😍

I stayed at the 2 double-bed room which is clean and enough space for one family. Breakfast is tasty but would be more option, like waffle, sausage, variety of egg cook. As well, Alexandria is the beautiful and charming town and definitely is one of the best options to welcome a New Year.

Pool was out of work. Location is close to the rail station but too far to walk down to the old town area, particularly, river side to see the firework in the new year eve. So we drove there.

The breakfast was great, but I wish it were included in the hotel rate per day. The location wa suitable for my business purposes, very close to my business location. However on my personal reasons, nothing to do with the hotel, far from other amenities like shopping center, so I got to spend more on transportation.

No shuttle to airport.

The hotel is very stylish and clean, and the location is wonderful. Staff is beyond helpful and accommodating. It was one of the most comfortable stays I had in my life. The room is spacious, and the bed and sheets are out of this world. Breakfast was amazing, and the restaurant provides wonderful food for dinner. 10 stars experience!

Parking situation, had to find street parking everytime I used the rental car because I am not paying ridiculous 38 dollar parking fee after I paid 500 for 2 nights stay Also the bathroom appeared to be dated and a little worn out

The location was great not far from King street and grocery stores. I love that the room was clean I was able to control the heat, that’s a plus for me. I love that the hotel and room appears to be well kept. I like that you have the option to park on the street. I didn’t eat at the restaurant but having a restaurant inside the hotel is great.

The one and only thing I didn’t like were the pillows, they were not firm enough, they were very soft and flatten quickly.

I was shocked to find a barefooted homeless person sleeping in the lobby at 6:30am. Another female guest was equally shocked and commented this individual was only a few feet from the room elevators. She asked me to escort her to her floor afterwards. I understand this is an issue for our country. If Westin opts to be of assistance to these individuals, perhaps do so not at the expense of guests.

We really liked the nice, quiet, clean room. Great beds. Staff is super-friendly and helpful. One note: you need to request that housekeeping make up your room. That wasn’t made clear to us when we checked in, so our room wasn’t cleaned on the first day/night. But when we got back late, learned we should have asked for housekeeping , we requested more coffee & creamer for the morning & a very nice housekeeper brought some to our room. And the room was beautifully made up the next day.

We thought with the name “Westin Old Town” we would be closer to Old Town. It’s located in an area of modern high-rises, right across from the federal courthouse. It didn’t feel like Old Town, just a generic modern city.

Great location! Our power went out due to a storm and we needed a place to stay nearby. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Great location in Alexandria near public transport and Old Town. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Bed was a little firm, but that was it.
